Call him Ali, or he may continue punching you in the face until you stop calling him Clay... -
With Revis now off the market, is Browner a possible option?

Not only do gingers have souls, they have many of them. Gingers earn a freckle for every soul they steal.

Bills to trade Kiko Alonso for LeSean McCoy
devldog131 replied to CNY315's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't believe Kiko has been paid for two years. If, as I believe to be the case, Kiko spent the season on the NFI list, he would not have received his base salary or any bonuses. He also did not gain a year accrued on his contract. If he was IR'd, he would have received his base salary. Perhaps these two items have something to do with him wanting out. He may have been pissed that the Bills stuck him somewhere that meant he didn't get paid instead of IR When he was injured working out. Maybe the Bills were not convinced that the injury occurred during a workout and thought it may be the result of some other type of screwing around, so they didn't want to pay him and had soured on him. -

In order for Sanchez to not sink a team, he needs to be in a situation similar to the two years in a row in which the Jests made it to the AFC title game. He needs to be on a team with a stacked defense (check) and a commitment to running the football (supposedly that's the plan). If you can stay in every game with your defense and running game, a guy like Sanchez can serve as an effective manager. Let him hide behind the run and short pass game in close contests, drawing the defense in tight, then have him throw the occasional, well-timed, deep ball against man coverage, which we know our receivers are fully capable of beating. The Eagles are an uptempo offense that likes to put the game in the hands of the QB, and after a full season of Chip Kelly film, teams knew how to defend it. And again, it pains me to have to take this side in a discussion. Do I think Sanchez is a very good qb? Absolutely not. However, do I think there is a better *realistic* option out there? Absolutely not. With the options out there right now, we just need to find the guy who will screw it up the least. -

Costed? Really? In all seriousness, I think that of all the FA QBs available, Sanchez is the best one... it really pains me to say that, but it is the truth. We need another option at QB, and unless we can swing a trade for Bradford (which sounds unlikely at this point), dirty is the best available. -
Even Bill Nye thinks the Pats are Full of S***

Does anybody have a link on this? I live in MA and would love to throw it in the faces of the patriots* fans I deal with on a constant basis. -
Supposedly, Payton didn't know anything about the bounty program, but was suspended because, as head coach, he was ultimately responsible for the goings on with the team. Same can be said for belichick in this case even of he was unaware of the practice (which I am sure he wasn't.) What many people seem to be leaving out is that, if the bald were deflated to the quarterback's preference, the golden boy was clearly involved in the actions and benefitted from it. Marsha should also be in line for strict league discipline.

Marrone hired as Jags OL coach
devldog131 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Terry was so thrilled, he offered to drop him off. Of course, the plane didn't actually land in Jacksonville... douggie's inflated ego and sense of self-importance slowed his descent enough to make the drop survivable. Can't necessarily say the last couple of weeks will be survivable for his career, though. -
New England Patriots caught deflating game balls

My bad. Was meant to be more of a parody of the "IN" trend around here lately... guess I should've been more clear about that. You forgot to capitalize the first two letters... -

She'll be there every week, win or lose. Just like my almost 4 year old daughter is there every week, demanding that I play the shout song every time the Bills score a touchdown. The pic is of me and my oldest from last season. -
I'd say "gameplay" penalties should offset, like your PI vs. holding example. Replay the down. Same goes for personal fouls against both teams. If multiple penalties are called on the same team, enforce whichever one results in the greatest penalty yardage. Now, in the case of a "gameplay" penalty, like the illegal contact the OP stated, being called on one team and a personal foul of any kind called on the other, I say the personal foul should be enforced and wipe out the run of the mill penalty against the other team.
