  1. Nice job on the Scrabble question!
  2. I think that the difference is that they're daring Trent to beat them this year. Based on our offense last year, its a justified defense against our team. The problem with it is that Trent is proving that we can beat teams this year by throwing. I think that eventually, opposing defenses will need to back off, which will give our running game a chance to shine. Last year, our only weapon was the run (and special teams), but this year its more balanced, so I think we'll see a shift on how teams will defend us. That will balance out our attack as well.
  3. Like I said, just going to any club is the point. It's not a contest and I'm not trying to 'steal' your members. Mr. Fancy Pants can do whatever he wants.
  4. Easy, daddy. I could care less where he goes as long as he goes. Nobody had responded to the post yet so I did.
  5. Regardless of where you go, watching the game at a Bills Backers bar is way better than at home by yourself. Usually its a great atmosphere to watch a game.
  6. Come downtown instead! dpbbb.net
  7. A radio station in Olean, NY had them and cut them up. I have a 3 inch piece that my grandfather was able to get from them.
  8. I saw that he was on the cover and picked one up at lunch today. Hey, at least it isn't a blown out knee or something that would slow him down.
  9. I had never seen this before, but it's a pretty good interview with Bruce. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLUwPoWMvVU Then there's this one:
  10. Well, he runs a commercial development firm now (Bruce Smith Enterprise LLC) so you could pose as a builder or contractor, sneak into his offices, and say that you need his signature on something and slip him the picture. At that point he's bound to either sign it or just pound you into the ground. Sort of a toss up, but that picture would look good in the trophy room!
  11. He must hate money!
  12. Yeah, they said the opposing team fell on it. The game was close, too!
  13. Great article. Seems to touch on most of the important points as to why we're the team that we are so far this season. Strangely informative and objective from someone outside of Buffalo.
  14. It was actually a front flip at the one, where he set the ball down on the 1/2 yard line instead of the goal line. It was on the Philly news this morning: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7hbzpZilJE
  15. Or Obama!
  16. Agreed. Had he thrown the ball for a completion or incompletion and then taken that hit, its a penalty. In this case, he fumbled and then took the hit. As soon as he fumbles, he's becomes fair game same as the rest of the players on the field.
  17. I'd take the kick every time given the circumstances. Lindell had his rough time, but has been lights out from under 50yds since. This was a 45yd field goal and it put a go-ahead field goal out of the game plan for the Jags with 30 secs left.
  18. Attendance was 65,167 according to the ESPN site. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=280914030
  19. Still not concrete about Porter, but looks doubtful that he'll play at all. http://www.jacksonville.com/tu-online/stor...331710914.shtml I foresee alot of MJD tomorrow. Through screens, draw plays, and alot of straight ahead running. He's the biggest playmaker that they have available along with Fred Taylor. Despite their depleted receivers and OL, I think that this is a huge test for our D. Its a matchup that should favor us as long as everyone comes out to play.
  20. I thought that exact same thing yesterday after watching a couple ST plays. He looked solid in there.
  21. I wouldn't say favorite, but I would say that they have an outside chance at winning the AFC. I think there are probably close to 10 teams that have a chance to do that, but it's too early to tell at this point. One thing is for sure, if Tom Brady doesn't go down yesterday, this conversation doesn't even happen.
  22. Pretty standard awkwardness after a holdout. "Well, I wanted more money, but they didn't want to give it to me so I did the only thing that I could and that was to hold out. But I love the team." Should be a business as usual for him for the rest of the season. Hopefully he'll be playing at an elite level and we'll give him a new contract that will lock him in for years to come at the end of the season.
