Bush league is giving into player demands for players who are still under contract. Are the Giants bush league for not extending Burress right now? What about the Bengals for not giving into Chad Johnson? There are a number of other teams who are in the same spot as the Bills and a number of other players who are in the same spot as Peters. It doesn't make either side bush league.

Not to mention, he drops the pass, then makes a big spectacle about it and throws a fit on the field or sideline. Then in the press conference after the game, he'll blame either the QB or the refs for the drop.

It's majestic, and cool

Here's the real article Here's the theory I'm going with: "And as for people capable of the job, you'd need a crew that includes someone with covert surveillance skills, someone who's been doing the strength training necessary to move an object that heavy, a wheel man who's willing to drive into whoever he has to to get away clean, and someone in the Mark Wahlberg role who's proven that he can manage a crew of guys in a high-pressure situation." Sorry for all the links, but they're included in the article.

I think that they should promise to negotiate after the season for the long term. Even float some numbers at him to keep him motivated. It gives the Bills a season to watch him and it gives Peters a chance to prove that he's worth the top contract for a LT in the NFL. Even more improtant than that, it shows the rest of the team that the Bills mgmt wont get on their knees and negotiate after a player has a good year. Let's not forget, he's had 1 year at LT, and he got injured. That's not to say that he isn't the real deal, because I think he is, but taking a chance at this point in his contract and career doesn't make sense to me.

haha.. no problem. I got excited when I read the article, too!

http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/billsnfl/story/367424.html This is awesome news. It'd be nice to have some 5 receiver sets this year with plays for him to work him into the offense.

Ravens, Bills among teams who could crash playoffs

The only person who I can think of that fits that description (especially great mobility and intelligence) is Big Ben, but I know that's the wrong answer. -
Ravens, Bills among teams who could crash playoffs

When they played well, it was a pretty good football team, but it was few and far between. I could see them being in the bottom 25% of the league this year. -

Ravens, Bills among teams who could crash playoffs
Billadelphia replied to Billadelphia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, that's rediculous. I really don't want that to become our name in the media, especially since right now, we're the Buffalo Bills. There's no need for that at this point. -
Lee Evans coming up on ESPN2

Anything interesting said in the ESPN interview? -
http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=420388 I'm not sure how I feel about being pared with the Ravens and the Rams, but it's another article calling for us to make some waves this year. It definitely contradicts this other Sporting News article that came out on the same day that was already posted on TSW. One says 5-11 and the other says playoffs: http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=420003 http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...l=sporting+news

The video is water buffalo and the cats are lions, not tigers, but you get the idea.

IMO, at this point if Lynch is guilty, he's gotta go

No, because he started another thread about this. There's literally 7 threads discussing the same thing. -

You're a gentleman and a scholar, you douchbag. -
Who here is surprised that a celebrity/NFL player is being treated differently than the average person? Why would they be? It happens everytime, so I definitely wouldn't call it a double standard anymore. It's more of a standard at this point. All that I'm hopeful for is that Marshawn doesn't miss any game time. You can talk all day about what should have been done that night and what shouldn't, but the reality is that you have no idea how you'd react in that situation. I mean, is anyone really raised that they should pull off and not help the person?? I don't care if you're rich or poor, you know better. What it comes down to is the choice you make when the sh*t hits the fan. I can't honestly say that I wouldn't pull off either because I've never been in that situation. I like to think that I would stop, but nobody can say for certain what they'd do. All I can say is that it doesn't surprise me one bit that this is turning out to be a sh*t show.

http://buffalobills.com/blog/index.jsp?blogger_id=1 Chris Brown blog: FEWELL HAS PRAISE FOR GREER: With all the added competition at cornerback with the signing of Will James and the addition of three drafted corners, defensive coordinator Perry Fewell has been impressed with what Jabari Greer has done thus far this spring in response to the added competition now in the fold. "This made Jabari Greer compete even more," said Fewell. "He's had an outstanding OTA session. It's not like it's hands down that Leodis is going to be the guy (starter). Jabari has really stepped his game up. I think we now have competition where we didn't really have that type of competition last year. All those guys are fighting to be starters, and I think that makes your defense better." Greer has looked very sharp this spring, and has that seasoned look to him. He's been battled tested from all his playing time last season and it shows. I think McKelvin will have to have a super training camp to unseat Greer at the starting right cornerback spot the way Greer is playing right now. It looks like Greer is stepping up to the plate. I think it's good for our secondary to have some competition and not really know whose going into training camp. Would people look at this years draft (or at least rd. 1) as a bust if McGee is returning kicks and Greer is starting at CB? Or do you think that it's just going to take some time to groom Leodis into an NFL corner?

Monday Night Game
Billadelphia replied to HereComesTheReignAgain's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I bought 2 tickets from a broker a few weeks ago for the Cleveland game at the goal line 6 rows up in section 116 for $183. I figured that I'd rather do that then try and go through the hassel of trying to get them this morning. In hindsight (and what I'll do next year) is just buy season tickets and get rid of the ones that I can't make it for. $90 a seat isn't bad for a MNF game considering the prices that I've seen in other stadiums, but getting season tickets seems to be the way to go when you run the numbers. -
I missed that. That's gold!
