  1. I think that he was raised in Jamestown, NY.
  2. I'd like to know what kind of interest we have in him. My guess is that somebody just threw us in there based on the situation with Lynch. I can't see us having Lynch, Jones, Jackson, Wright, and Omen in training camp.
  3. Vick didn't get 1-2 years for dogfighting, he got 1-2 years (the maximum sentence) because on top of the dogfighting charges, he lied to police about his involvement and then failed a drug test. They threw the book at him because of a combination of those things. Had he cooporated and not failed a drug test, it probably would have been closer to a 90 day jail sentence.
  4. Another thing to consider is just creating a Bills Backers group yourself. You'd be surprised how many people end up signing up when you create a chapter through the Bills website. There are alot of other fans out there just like you, especially at a college campus. Once you get a few people, just go and talk to a manager at a sports bar that gets the NFL ticket (most do now) and tell them that you're bringing people in every week and try and get them to promise you a TV, a corner with a TV, or best yet a private room. I'd suggest signing up on the Bills site sooner rather then later so that it gives people a chance to find you over the summer.
  5. I'd say that the main thing is running the Bills Backers in downtown Philly. It's always nice to be able to take a break from the rest of the world and rabidly watch the Bills game with about 100 other Bills fans while eating wings & drinking Blue. Other than the few games that I do get to attend, I look forward to these meetings more than anything. Gamedays I always where a jersey, no matter where I am, despite getting booed as I walk down the street (this is partially due to the fact that Philly's uninformed and thinks that I'm wearing a Giants jersey). I've got the Bills flag flying just under the American flag outfront of my house and have the license plate holder on my car. I have a variety of Bills clothes that I wear in a pretty consistent rotation, ranging from nice polo's to ratty old "You've got the Reich stuff baby" Tshirts. Moreso than anything, it's just the positive support that I always give to the teams and to the city when they're brought into the discussion. I'll never talk down on the area of the country that I'm from, and try to explain as best I can, why it's such a special place. Everyone who knows me knows who my team is, just like Tim.
  6. That is an impressive bush. The thing that I worry about is that it looks like he's sitting on a child's bunk bed.
  7. Poise is to noodle arm as less of a noodle arm is to more poise. They're reciprical. I can't believe that you don't get this! Hey, did you guys hear that Marshawn Lynch pulled a gun on his father?
  8. Losman has a canon arm, but Edwards has poise.
  9. I welcome it. This means his rookie contract will be that much smaller. Also, seeing that he has the same agent as Peters (Eugene Parker), I'll take any negatives that I can get off the field so that when contract time comes in a couple years, we can point to it and say that he doesn't deserve high priced receiver money due to his actions off the field.
  10. Do you have a link for this? Last I heard, the car didn't slow down or stop, like they didn't know they hit anyone. This is from the Buffalo News article yesterday, but I think it was moved or is gone now: “The driver never stopped, just kept moving south on Delaware,” the official said. “It could very well be that the driver never saw [shpeley] and didn’t know he hit her.”
  11. What did he do in this case?
  12. It's sad, but true. It's not that I would ever want to be in that situation, but if I were, I can't sit here and say that I would definatly do one thing or another.
  13. Honestly, I view the NFL players like celebrities anyways, so who really cares what they do as long as it's entertaining (i.e. playing football)? I'll be pissed if Marshawn misses any gametime, but if I hit somebody and I was hammered, I'd take off too. I'd stop if I was sober, but if I were drunk, I'd probably run, too. I need to just quit reading the board because the only thing that's getting to me about this whole situation are the hall monitors on here that are on their soapbox preaching about right and wrong. I don't stop listening to the Rolling Stones because they do drugs. I won't stop liking Marshawn or the Bills because he fled the scene of an accident. Personally, I could care less what they do except for 60 minutes a week, 16-20 times a year.
  14. I understand that. But we still know the same information about the incident than we did yesterday. The only thing that's changed is that we know who is being questioned.
  15. The victim was wearing dark clothing, officers said. A hard rain was falling, and road conditions were slippery. Police said the woman had the right of way. “As [shpeley] crossed the road, another woman was walking in front of her. The woman in front of Shpeley was kind of dancing and singing in the street . . . like ‘Singin’ in the Rain.’ That could have distracted whoever was driving Marshawn’s car,” a law enforcement official said. “The driver never stopped, just kept moving south on Delaware,” the official said. “It could very well be that the driver never saw [shpeley] and didn’t know he hit her.” I still don't think that it's naive to think that this was an honest mistake and they didn't know what happened. The arguement's getting slimmer and slimmer, but 3 young guys, leaving a bar could have been distracted by a woman in the middle of the street dancing. Obviously there's still more that we don't know. Just wanted to get that out there before the priests start posting
  16. Omen Corner Kent Hull (this might be a reach, but I heard he's all about clubbin')
  17. Eugene Parker is Peter's agent apparently. And his track record worries me. He is also James Hardy's agent so we can expect the same thing by 2010-2011 from him. Here's the link about his agent from today's frontpage. Also his Wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugene_E._Parker
