  1. You don't pull him at all this season because everyone behind him is inferior. As long as he doesn't get hurt, he should take every snap. He's smart enough and has the athletic ability to learn from any mistakes that he makes. IMO, you give him this season, and the debate is dead.
  2. Bledsoe reminds me of a bottle of wine: He's always laying flat on his side/back as he ages, and he stays perfectly still.
  3. Some of the comments underneith are classic: By Perfect July 15, 2008 10:39 PM | Link to this I guess that makes him Curly. I can’t imagine a more perfect story right before training camp for the next stiff, non-NFL caliber QB they’re going to roll out there. The only way to make that more perfect would have been if the back swing of the ax had hit Moe (Ricky Williams) in the face. By tarniman July 16, 2008 12:15 AM | Link to this Why the F**k are they cutting firewood in the middle of summer—he could have very easily ended his sorry career for good
  4. Yeah I know. Last I knew, they missed out on their first choice in Keith Rivers and reached for the next best LB, who was projected to go later in the 1st or 2nd.
  5. A 4 inch piece of the goalpost that my grandfather gave to me and two stadium seats from when they put the Jim Kelly suites in.
  6. I don't see that as a problem as long as April is at the helm. He'll have that unit clicking come September. Don't forget that DiGiorgio, Ellison, and some good rookie corners & receivers will be at his disposal.
  7. The majority of it is the $20MM claim in bonuses from the Falcons. If the courts say that is his money and they can't ask for it back, then he's better off, but still in a bad place (other than prison). I agree. I wonder what the running total is for what he's p!ssed away so far in his career? Its probably just about every penny that he's made.
  8. This was on SportCenter this morning as well. Basically reiterating that we haven't made the playoffs in 8 years so 'why would he say it'. They then likened it to John Kitna saying the same thing about the Lions. The reporter said he didn't think that we'd make it due to us having a young QB. Personally, I'd rather have a young team motivated to prove everyone wrong than to have them feel like they are a shoe-in to go to the playoffs.
  9. Too many inconsistencies in his fandom. If Bledsoe was his man and caused him to go to the Pats, why not come back to the Bills when he was traded to us? The answer: Because the Pats were winning and we weren't. He fell in love with the limp wristed Brady and forgot all about ol' Bledsoe. Now that the Pats are no longer the respectable team that they were before everyone found out they cheated, he's looking for a new QB and team to follow who's on the upswing. Enter Trent Edwards and the newly revamped Bills. Definition of a fairweather fan (and by that account, he sounds a little gay, too ).
  10. Tim Biakabatuka.... or just Tim for short.
  11. I agree. He'll be screaming his head off for Marshawn come Sept. and he'll know exactly what to do when he scores a postseason touchdown.
  12. I'm guessing that this is the cause as well. Bad knees on a fullback spell trouble. He may have earned his way into training camp before this injury, but not a chance if he can't make it through OTAs.
  13. Dont forget about the Dubai Oilers!
  14. Ah that makes sense. I just remember driving through there and almost falling asleep about 10 times.
  15. There's actually a huge stretch of nothingness along the coast between San Diego & LA, but I'd imagine that they'd want to build it in one of the cities.
  16. In that article, it says that Fewell thinks that Johnson can play DE as well as the interior. That's pretty interesting in case of an injury.
  17. Derek Schouman becomes an option and helps to stretch the field for the O.
  18. They should cut him immediately, in the spirit of saving the game from these animals.
  19. Is there a link yet? Its not that I don't believe it and agree, but I'd just like to read the article.
  20. My guess is that McCargo will have double digit sacks this year.
  21. Bill from NYC will NOT be happy with this thread.
  22. Kind of like how Chad Johnson put it... "I may be crazy, but I'm not stupid." They'll both be there when the season starts, but I'd feel more comfortable about next offseason if Evans was taken care of this year. Next year we'll have Crowell, Peters, and probably more unhappy players yet to be determined.
  23. Yeah, you should probably just take some time off from the NFL and this board altogether. Its all ruined.
  24. Once the civil suit is over, he'll have a press conference and make a public apology, but why would he now? It just gives them more ammo to jack up the rediculously high payday that the woman will get. It makes no sense whatsoever for him to have a press conference now, or to write a letter himself in his own "language"????
