Unfortunately I think it'll be a year before we can get some guys in who can actually play the position (draft picks, free agents, etc.). Not sure why Castillo is so in love with his former player Ducasse. But, I'd be happy as hell if Wyatt Teller learns the playbook and pushes his way into the starting lineup at either guard spot sooner rather than later.

The '89 Cowboys provide a pretty good argument for why it is okay to start Allen. Aikman got killed his first year, but he learned a lot and improved. And, it certainly didn't "break him." This season is going to be garbage for the Bills either way. Might as well let the kid start and get some much needed experience.

No that's a fact.
44 points was the 2nd biggest margin of victory in a loss in franchise history.
The worst loss ever was MNF against he Pats in 2007 (46 points).
There's a positive... it wasn't the worst loss ever in the franchise's history. Only the second worst. ?

Anyone know why Wyatt Teller didn't dress? Is he hurt? Still struggling to learn the playbook?

I get that Peterman knows the offense well, but it is painfully obvious to even the most casual observer that he doesn't have an NFL arm. We're losing games either way... letting Allen learn on the fly at least gives fans a reason to watch.

With that pass to Logan Thomas on 3rd and forever, Josh Allen is now the starting QB of the Buffalo Bills

Put Teller in too.
Not dressed apparently (no idea why not)

I don't buy the whole "you'll ruin him" story re: Allen. Troy Aikman got killed his first year in Dallas, but benefited from that rookie year down the road. This team is so awful we might as well get every young guy we have some experience.

Right now, I think you'd get pretty good Vegas odds on this team going 0-16. We won't be favored for any game this year.

You just can't win with terrible offensive and defensive lines.

Might as well put Logan Thomas in at QB. At least he can take a hit.

This is why folks in Buffalo drink so much

Is there any doubt we have the worst offensive line in football?

Way too early as stated by others. That said, I'm not sure the lousy pro personnel moves are all on Beane: https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2018/5/4/17317606/buffalo-bills-to-hire-dan-morgan-front-office-job-carolina-panthers-seattle-seahawks

I'm guessing he is just holding a roster spot until we sign someone who was released. Maybe Bryant, Miller or Perriman
I sure hope so. We need guys who actually catch the ball (in bounds) when they're open.

Did we make any good pro personnel moves this off-season?

Our secondary and linebacker depth is hella-bad

Ladies and gentleman, AJ was out there w/ 2 1st string WRs and O'Leary (who can play) again the Bears nobodies and threw a pick 6 leading us to a 13-0 deficit. He deserves to be cut.
Peterman 1. Allen 2.
This is how I see.

I'm not sure AJ will be on the roster next week.

Chicago receivers have been wide open all night.

Groy is pretty awful as a pass blocker. From what I saw in preseason, Bodine is even worse. I always considered Eric Wood to be fairly average by NFL standards, but Bodine and Groy make him look like a Hall of Famer in comparison.
