Ralph Wilson needs a good fisting. He's always treated the team as an investment and run it like a business. To the extent that winning helped the bottom line, ol' Ralph was okay with it... but I get the sense that he never really cared either way as long as his pockets were lined by the hard working folks of Buffalo (and now Toronto). Keep shoveling your cash into Ralph's pockets and he'll laugh all the way to the bank.

I really like Nick Foles from Arizona. I wouldn't be surprised if 4 QB's go in the Top-15 picks or so. He doesn't get the hype of the other 1st round QB prospects since he is never on TV, but he can play. That said, I don't think a left tackle would be a horrible pick. As we've seen, you can never have enough good offensive linemen. Who is the top rated outside linebacker?

Good post. Ralph has lived a long and highly successful life by any measure. But after vising my 98 year-old grandmother last weekend, I know that Ralph is about to the point where everyday tasks such as walking, hearing, seeing, etc. become difficult. There is no doubt that even the healthiest individual deteriorates both mentally and physically in their 90's. And, there is no way someone can effectively run an NFL franchise at that age. If he won't sell outright, the smart thing to do would be to sell or transfer ownership of 80% of the team to other investors (http://www.underpenaltyofcatapult.com/412/davis-death-raises-succession-tax-issues) in order to minimize the estate taxes upon his death. Has he already done so? Is such a thing public knowledge?

This was a game we've lost time and time again over the past decade. Definitely seems like these guys have a different mentality than teams from years past. BTW - Fitz was a monster in the second half!

Pigpen has always been horrible. I can only guess that the folks who were talking up his "glory days" in KC didn't actually see his games there... My take is he's another J.P. Losman... good physical tools, but something is just missing...

He's never been particularly accurate, so I don't know why folks think that will start now. 54% for his career and a pretty average TD-Int ratio. He's a career backup with some nice wheels to get out of trouble once in a while... but I'd be worried if Fitz goes down... personally, I don't think we can win with Thigpen.

Past two years we've had a ton of guys on IR and, of course, a constant problem keeping offensive linemen healthy. Maybe this year will be different...

In my opinion we have good depth in the front seven on defense, but really nowhere else. We can't afford to lose anyone on offense (yet you know guys will go down through the course of the season)
