  1. Go to googlesightseeing.com. I have the page bookmarked.

They have found that the Stratosphere Tower doesn't exist, but its shadow does!

I have personally seen a few planes in flight around San Jose, CA in google maps.

The zooms are a series of different pictures some times. I use Google maps for work to see where I have to go on a job. For a job I did last week. the closest picture showed the property as vacant land, zoomed out to the next level and it is under construction. Zoom out a little more, and it is finished. It was built in 2005-2006.

Thanks for the sight, I'll check it out.

  2. Bills trade down 3 times my near ideal scenario

Back to 15 with lions so Detroit can take Harvey ahead of Carolina

Back to 19 with eagles so Philly can get Devin Thomas

Back to 23 with Steelers so Pittsburgh can get Mayo

With 23 Buffalo selects...Phillip Merling (although I am not 100% sold on him)

So the bills pick up 3 extra 3rd rounders, they can use them there or parlay them into a couple 2nd's

TE John Carlson (could 2 TE's work if we only have 1 talented WR)

TE Fred Davis (could 2 TE's work if we only have 1 talented WR)

DL Pat Sims (I think this guy will be an absolute stud in the NFL, never too many good DL, and a steal in the 2nd)

OL Sam Baker (can play G and T, a good oline gets lynch and extra .1 YPC and Edwards anextra .2 secs in the pocket)

WR Malcolm Kelly (I think he'll slip into the 2nd round)

    Thoughts?

We get a non-pass rushing DE, 2 TE's (giving us 7? 8? on the roster), Another DT (even though we have 1 VERY good, 2 good, 1 average DT already), and the most immature player I've seen in a while for our #2 WR.

It's not all bad though, I'm all for getting some O-line depth in the draft (3rd or later though).

  3. Jordy Nelson - Kansas State 6'2 217 4.49-40, 31" Vert, not sure of bench. With that speed and vert I see other guys a bit taller with a better vert who will have more impact. So why the love?

I could care less if we get him or not, I'de rather have Sweed. But what other guys (who are expected to go in the 3rd round) have the same production as him? Look up his college stats and you will be impressed.

  4. For the life of me I dont get people.....when healthy he is one of the best TE's in the game........but we dont want him....

He shows up his QB (we have a second year QB), has a lot of injuries for a 28 year old player, drops a LOT of catchable passes, and why would he accept going from the champs to a team that hasn't made the playoffs in a decade without a new deal?

EDIT: Great, now my computer is acting up (sputtering, no smileys/fonts ect.). see everyone tomarrow.

  5. As much as I hate the guys persona, i think the Bills have a good relationship with him. We worked out a fair deal for Roscoe, and Stroud got his guaranteed when he got traded here. I wouldn't expect many problems.

Although, if Rosenhaus being his agent leads us to draft Limas Sweed (11 or trade down), I'm all for it

  6. Yes, there are some decent journeymen out there and we still have the draft. I'm not saying JP can't be a decent back-up, I'm saying he doesn't want to be one, and he will serve as nothing but a distraction. In terms of value, anybody thinking we can get better than a 4 is on drugs. It doesn't matter if he was drafted in the first round, he is a laughingstock around the league, the same way other team's boards laugh at us thinking we can get a second or a third or both.

And on top of that, he has 1 year left on his contract. He is gone after this year no matter what. Why not get Tim Rattay, and lock him up for 3-4 years?

  7. Our only weakness is center... i haven't heard anything on him being able to play center... do we move butler to C? ... Let Me get some of your opinion's

Obie-Wan said he could learn to learn to play LT (which he hasn't played) as well as groom him to play center (a position he has never played) as well as replacing Butler at LG (even though Butler was one of our best linemen last year).

He said that a Guard who would be a ROOKIE would easily be able to learn all 3 positions in the span of his first year. Nevermind that O-lines take time to gel, and it wasn't until later in the season until the line played REALLY well. Let's break it up for a rookie, who BTW is just as likely to be a bust as anyone else in the draft.

I feel, however, we should keep the line as it is for this year. And draft the top rated center in next years draft (there are several prospects in next years draft, unlike this year)

  8. The first pick is going to be a DE. We need a pass rush. It will be Merling or Harvey, and both are worthy of the 11 pick, no matter who you talk to. Merling, before his injury, was expected to go 8 - 12. The guy is a beast and would be awesome paired with Stroud and McCargo/Johnson. Our DEs are small and need a rotation to be effective. Denney and Kelsay are nothing special. If we don't get a DE, the opposition will just stop Stroud and ignore our ends. A pass rush will help the secondary.

Then the Bills will trade back into the 1st or at least up in the 2nd to take a WR, which my guess will be James Hardy, because I think Thomas, Sweed, and Kelly will be gone.

They will pick up another CB later in the draft and find a FB, TE, and a backup LB in the later rounds.

Merling and pass rush don't belong in the same sentance. He is VERY strong against the run, below average at getting to the QB.

He has 10 sacks in 3 years playing against COLLEGE COMPETITION. In the same time span, Kelsay has 10.5 sacks against NFL COMPETITION.

You need to have (at least) adequate DT's to have a good pass rush, and Kelsay played along side the likes of Tripplett, K. Williams, and Tim F---IN Anderson.

  9. TIM RATTAY IS A FREE AGENT. HE WOULD BE A VERY GOOD BACKUP QB FOR US!!!!!

Here are his stats. Pretty good for a guy who will come cheap, has experience, plays the same style as Edwards, and who we COULD LOCK UP FOR A FEW YEARS (instead of losing Losman after this year).

He has more than enough talent to win us a few games if Edwards goes down.

  10. that is the CB I want the Bills to draft. He brings so much more then DRC

Trade down (17-23) for an extra second, grad Sweed. Trade up (25-30) and grab Flowers. With the second we get in the trade down, grab the best available TE. I know it's a pipe dream, but how great would that be?

Grab 2 O-lineman, FB (yes, I'm refering to Owen Schmidt), and a few players for ST/backup defense (Woodyard, Steltz, Silva types).
