"Many hippies were hurt during the making of this video, on purpose. Really. And before you ask, no, we don't feel bad about it, at all. Actually, we're still laughing."
They got rid of him because they had Bulger sitting on the bench. And he was younger and cheaper.
FWIW, Warner also stunk it up in NY. And the biggest reason he is doing so well in arizona is because he has the best WR tandem in the league (similar to when he had Bruce and Holt in their primes).
I saw it too, and was almost expecting us to get looked over. The best part is that Ritchie actually believes that. He's not reading the latest Dallas news off of a script like most of their other football segments.
While I don't agree that Trent will be like Manning/Brady*, I could see him turning out to be in the Hasselback/Delhomme mold.
Well he played a lot last week, including reaturning kicks in the first half (which was dumb). And in his interviews after the game he said he was really tired and felt like throwing up after some plays.
Hopefully this is just giving him some needed rest after a good game.
I think he* will do about the same thing all season. (Descent, manage the game.)
He'll probably have a better game next week due to the phags being terrible though.
I think we sign a OLB in FA ala K. Mitchell. And I hope to see us get a center in the first. (Fowler is a UFA) Hopefully there are a few good TE's in the second for us to choose from.
But, but, but I heard on ESPN that signing a bunch of old, expensive players made the Jets a playoff contender. I mean, building a team through the draft is soooooo overrated.
Duke has been in the league for more than enough time to figure out that he sucks. We have seen him in games before, and he is a less talented version of Fowler IMO.
Hardy is a rookie at a position that takes a while to learn, not the same case.
Fowler needs to go in the offseason (FA after this year anyway). But Duke has the same problem as Fowler, strength. Having Duke in there would only make us worse.
We've played two pretty good defensive teams. And it was the same last year, the O-line was good at pass protection, but not run blocking. Hopefully we will finally get ourselfs a bonafide center this offseason. (Alex Mack)
Hopefully it will improve with the cupcakes we face the next couple of weeks. The good news is we are winning despite the fact we haven't rushed for many yards.
