They shouldn't have been in the best team discussion in the first place. If the refs knew how to do their job, the donks would be 1-2 right now. They have a potentially great offense, but that defense is downright putrid.

It's a great problem to have.

I got lucky and was able to use my bosses tickets for the game. (Well the owner actually, he has season tickets in the Jim Kelly club) I've only been to about 10 games, but those two series were by far the loudest I've ever heard the crowd. The best part was that the crowd was loud the entire 2 minutes or so that they were on commercial break. It was just a constant roar. At one point, I just sat back for a few seconds and took in the moment. (I was starting to lose my voice anyway)

AFAIK, Crowell and the team knew about the injury during the preseason. He said he was willing to play through the pain. However, he decided to have the surgery (news broke on the thursday before the Seahawks game). The thought is that he waited untill after the Tuesday before before the Seahawks game to have the surgery. Because after that day, his contract for this season became gauranteed. If he would of had the surgery in the preseaon, he would have only missed 1-2 games. Instead he waited to make sure he would get payed. The Bills pretty much sent him a big F.U. for being greedy.

Well, Brady* and Manning are first ballet HOF players. To say that Trent is going to turn out to be better than them after 11 starts is asanine. Hasselback and Delhomme may be second tier QB's in your eyes, but not in mine. I would rank them in the top 5-7 in the league. Trent has the smarts and accuracy to be a very good QB, I just don't see him being a HOFer. I think he ends up going to 2-3 pro-bowls, and taking us to the playoffs 4-5 times. Not bad considering what we've had since Jimbo retired. If you want specific reasons why I don't think he ends up a HOF QB, there isn't any specific thing I can say that I don't like about him. I just don't see him turning into an all time great. Take it for what it's worth, I'm just some average joe posting on a message board. I'de love to be wrong, and I'll be the first to sing his praises if I am.
