  1. If the over/under on pass attempts for Trent was at 3, what would you take?
  2. Jackson bounced outside and was pushed out of bounds, he was clearly a yard out when he was hammered by a pats DB.
  3. Click on "Two Bills drive forums" and scroll down to board statistics. You can get the infomation yourself from there.
  4. Here is a GREAT video that shows his run blocking skills. Watch from around 1:05 to 1:30 and tell me that you don't want this guy on the Bills.
  5. This is about what he looked like in the two other games I saw him play in. Just plain dominant in the run game, very solid in pass protection. (aside from the play on the first series) The thing I liked was how he finished plays. On multiple plays he blocked the DT to one side while the run went the opposite direction, yet he still hustled upfield to help block. Duke hasn't been too bad in the last few games, but he's never looked that good run blocking. Now we just have to wait to watch the other centers, see how they play in their bowl games.
  6. What else are we going to talk about? How bad the Bills get beat by the Donks and Pats*? At least topics like this are new and refreshing, a lot better than rehashing how bad our QB's are playing or how big of a tool Jason Peters is. There are over 30 Bowls, and thus a lot of opportunity for us to see potential propects going against good teams. Plus with a team like Arizona, we don't often get a chance to what their players look like, they're never on T.V. here.
  7. Had the game on and while he looked good (from what I saw, I was trying to watch the Ravens game too.), I would still rather have a Vet to back up Trent.
  8. Marv was the one who traded up to get McCargo.
  9. I was about to post the same thing... and then BANG, 83 yards to the 3rd string back. Nice way to close out that dump.
  10. That's george Selvie, the one I like the best as well. I think he has the skill to stay at DE in the pros despite his size. That's why I compared him to Freeny, even though they have different styles. Here's a good read on what he eats every day as he trys to gain wait. It includes this gem, "Just 52 minutes into the day, a familiar feeling hits. Well, two feelings. First: This might not be easy. Then: Oh, god. I'm about to soil my pants."
  11. Psssst, we may have a stadium with 73,000 seats, but we only have 53,000 season ticket holders.... And Nicklecity, grow some thicker skin, they were joking around. We tend to do that around here.
  12. He is expected to go in the mid-late first round. As I said in the other thread, I don't expect Johnson/ Orakpo to last past the top 10 so they're out of the discussion. The DE I like is George Selvie for USF. (Reminds me of Freeny) So I would try and grab him or Maualuga if he actually dropped to us. As for Mack, I want to try and trade back up to grab him. He is the next K. Mawae IMO, and I would hate to miss out on him.
  13. Here's a list of the top DE prospects expected to come out this year. Michael Johnson has a similar build and speed of Ware, and is slotted to go around where we'll be drafting. Although DE's who have great 40 times tend to go very early, and have my doubts if he'll last that long. The prospect I like is George Selvie from South Florida, He reminds me of Dwight Freeny. My perfect draft would be Selvie/Maualuga (ILB) with our first pick and to trade up for Mack. If we did somehow win the lottery and have Maualuga fall to us, move him to MLB, and have Poz take over for Crowell/Ellison.
  14. Grab the best DE/LB avaialable when we pick in the first and try to trade up to get Mack in the mid-late first. (who I've been pushing for since May 11th, when this first came up). In the offseason grab an experienced interior lineman or two (similar to what we did with Whittle) to be backups. We are set at both tackle posotions, and Chambers has played well this year. We are ok at G with Dockery and Butler. The only clear weakness is at C, and I think Mack would be a great addition.
  15. Up 16-14 in the fourth Qtr.(10 seconds left), it's 4th and 3 form our 29 yard line. We line up to punt, and try a fake with moorman. It inevitably gets stuffed, and Denver lines up with 2 seconds left and kicks the game winning feild goal. Book it!
  16. I agree with the people saying it's way too early to tell how good he can be. This is another situation where I think the coaches screwed up. Was there a single ball thrown his way that wasn't a jump ball? The entire game plan for Hardy seems to be for him to run straight down the feild and grab a jump ball. After a few try's defences start to catch on, and can take him out of the game pretty easily. If they had any football sense, they would teach him to be a complete reciever, and only use his size in certain situations. (single coverage from small DB, near the goal line, ect.) As bad as the Lions are, they seem to be teaching Calvin Johnson the right way. He may be tall and have leaping abilty, but that's not all he does. He actually has to run different routes, and not surprisingly, it works. I know the two aren't even close in terms of talent, but you should at least try to use Hardy in different ways.
  17. We had just ran the ball several times in a row against a stacked box, Their DL was too tired to stop us at that point. If you're doing something well, why change? If he is hitting 10 yard passes to his WR's and TE's with sucess, why the hell would you call a pass to your FB? (Who hasn't made a single play all year) And if you are worried about the Jets having too many players around the LOS, why throw the ball to a slow player whose route is (at best) 2 yards past the LOS? A pass play isn't the right call in that situation, and if you do call a pass, why call a play that hasn't worrked all year?
  18. I believe it means that if your QB is smart enough to throw the ball away (which he clealry isn't), that you will probably have run 6 seconds off of the clock. Thus getting you to the two minute warning. Although if you only want to run time off of the clock, would't you just run the ball? And if you do try a pass, why would you call a pass that is designed to go to your least talented, slowest offensive player? (FB) And if you are worried about the Jets having too many players around the LOS, why call a pass play that (at best) goes 2 yards past the LOS. Again, with your slowest, least elusive offensive player getting the ball.
