Bruce and Ralph made the hall of fame
Huuuge Bills replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
BTW, Bruce is on ESPN news right now. (press conference.) -
With our line, our receivers, and especially our coaches, I doubt Peyton does as good as he does now. Plus he has to be around 31-32. I would rather have a M. Ryan who is younger, cheaper, and has shown he can win without great talent surrounding him. To me you would have to choose someone who has shown he can dominate a game with minimal help. And they would have to play at an important position. (QB, DE, DT) On top of that they have to be fairly young IMO. M. Williams (DE, Texans), or K. Williams (DT, Vikings) are probably my top choices. If I had to choose one, I would take Mario Williams because he is so young, and is already unstoppable. He would instantly make our defense better, and would fill a need. Imagine how good our defense would look if we had Williams and were lucky enough to draft Raji. Schobel, Stroud, Raji, and Williams would be one of the best lines in football.

This has to be a first! A trade idea that actually makes sense and addresses our needs. If Raji get selected before our pick, I'm all for trading down. I don't care for any of the DE prospects that much, and 11 is too high for Pettigrew. Nice first post.

Joe Montana Talking Football vs TSB
Huuuge Bills replied to TheBlackMamba's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I had a Sega so my football game of choice was "Joe Montana sports talk football 2". It was much better than the first, and better than TSB IMO. -
Bills Sign P.K. Sam (WR) and Marvin Phillip (C)
Huuuge Bills replied to BillsGuyInMalta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Marvin Philip Is relatively young and played with the Browns last year. He had a serious concussion (Preseason) which kept him out all year however. One article did state that he was going to compete for the starting job in Cleveland before his injury though. So he might actually have some talent. -

Yea, if I'm not mistaken he's a pretty good returner. Which now makes four on the roster. His profile. He was around in 2004, and it seems he took a few years off/ or was on a practice squad before playing again last year. -
The man has good taste! Definitely my favorite song as well.

Movie or Television Series endings that sucked....
Huuuge Bills replied to millbank's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Two of my favorites both ended badly. Seinfeld ended with the cast being arrested for not helping out a fat guy being robbed. The Sopranos just ended, and that was it, just a black screen. And while I wasn't around to watch it myself, weren't people angry over how the Bob Newhart show ended? If I'm not mistaken, he wakes up one morning and you realize the entire show was just a dream. That's pretty bad IMO. -
Kawika Mitchell - Good FA pick up or not?
Huuuge Bills replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For five years and 17 million, he's about what you would expect. I wish they would have him blitz more often, and drop into coverage a lot less. But with our current coaches, that's not very likely. -
Bills "Thank You" highlight video
Huuuge Bills replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That sums it up for me as well. Being in a position to do good things, and making bad decisions to ruin your chances. -
Oops, lots of text in the post. Kind of forgot.

NSFW. You can do better than that.

Wow, didn't know that. Nice post.

And think about it, it goes beyond the 19 that missed full games. Big Ben was just carted off of the feild, P. manning had an infected knee which hampered him, and Delhomme/ Brees/ Warner/ McNabb/ Pennington/ Rivers all have an injury history. It comes with the position. Add to that Rodgers had a seperated shoulder this year, and Farvre now has shoulder problems. The only QB who I don't remember being banged up is M. Ryan.

I hope they work in the Bills organization
Huuuge Bills replied to Solomon Grundy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Luigs looks to be a very good pass blocker, and solid in the run game. (Opposite of mack, who is great run blocking, solid in pass). And while he isn't highlighted, Caldwell looks to be a little sloppy in this video. -
One of the games with the most Bills prospects is about to start. You have (OLB/DE) Aaron Maybin and (OC) A.Q. Shipley from Penn St. And from USC, you have my favorite prospect (ILB) Rey Maualuga. Just look for #58 in red, he shouldn't be hard to find.

Vikings still have 11,000+ tickets for playoff game
Huuuge Bills replied to Fezmid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Think about it like this. Imagine if we somehow had the dumbluck to get into the playoffs. Yet Jauron was still costing us games. Now imagine that he decided to start JP over Trent, even though Trent was having a good year. I can see some fans being mad enough to not go to the game. And also consider the fact that those tickets are much more expensive than the price of regular season games (Not to mention the bad economy, and it's christmas time). And since the Vikings didn't lock up a spot until this week, people may not have saved money aside for the game. -

I heard Clayton talking about this earlier. He said fans weren't buying them in protest of Childress still being their coach. And I guess many aren't happy with Jackson starting over Gus. I guess we'll see if protesting by not buying tickets actually works. -
DE Prospects are playing tonight
Huuuge Bills replied to Solomon Grundy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't forget the dumb penalty he took which erased the only GT touchdown. (Roughing the passer, well after the ball was released.) I bet he still ends being drafted in the early-mid first round due to his physical attributes though. -
I share mine with John Wilkes Booth, Tschakowski, and John Cougar Mellencamp's wife. An interesting group to say the least. And it is an important day in history as well. Toilet paper was invented by the Chinese on my birthday in 580.

Incredible. "Although it's suggested but not spelled out in Wilson's statement, a league source said Jauron's contract gives him complete hiring-and-firing control over his staff and that no changes are expected." "That means offensive coordinator Turk Schonert probably will be back despite Wilson's declaration "I share many of the fans' dissatisfaction with our offensive game management." This is from Tim Graham, so I trust that it's the truth. Seriously, why would you give Dick that authority? When has he ever shown that he can pick a competant staff?
