  1. The Bills drafted Levitre a few picks before the Vikes took huge Phil Loadholt. Loadholt is a "load", 6'8 335 lbs. He's already starting at RT today against the Browns for Vikings. Watching this kid play pretty well today, I'm confused as to why the Bills took a smaller RT in Levitre, and went to the trouble of converting him into their starting guard, when Loadholt was available for them to draft. Brad Butler had just finished playing a pretty good season at guard, so he could have stayed there with a year experience under his belt, while obviously, Loadholt would be the Bills' starting RT going into tomorrow night. Instead, the coach Kugler had to help Levitre learn the guard position coming from playing tackle, and Butler had to learn the tackle position coming from guard. :D

Maybe they want to avoid all of these huge guys who can't keep up with the pace of the no huddle. From what I can tell they want faster more agile lineman.

Not saying whether they are right or wrong, but that's what they want.

  3. They won't be able to trade a top-5 pick.

You know what though? By 2011 the NFL will probably have the rookie pay scale in place. So while it will still be hard to trade the pick, I bet it will be ten times easier than it is now.

It might not be in place for the 2010 draft, so Belichek* asked for a 2011 pick instead. The prick is just plain smart.

  4. I'll go against everyone here and say that McCoy is going to be the best of the QBs from next years draft class. Bradford got slightly nudged once or twice all of last year, not to mention he has the build of a 12 year old girl. Drop him behind our O-line and he's down for the count early.

That being said, let's give Trent a few games this season before we Consider his replacement.

Sucks for the kid, but it was bound to happen.
