  1. Good for T.O. It's always nice to see pro athletes get involved in causes such as this and use their status in society to their advantage in order to raise awareness and dollars. This may or may not be another sign that Owens has matured as an individual overall which could translate to success for him here in Buffalo, but either way it is a good story and a good cause that he is promoting.
  2. Ayers is not that type of player though, guys like Maybin and Larry English are. Ayers is perfectly suited to play DE in a 4-3 scheme IMO.
  3. Agreed. I really can't see Al Davis letting him get by the Raiders pick, but the only wideout prospect that has come into the league within the last 5 years or so that was better than Crabtree was Calvin Johnson IMO. Johnson made the NFL adjustment look pretty easy, and so will Crabtree. Johnson had a bit better straight line speed coming into the league, but other than that their skill sets are very similar as far as catching the ball, leaping ability, playmaking after the catch, and football IQ and work ethic go. I'd be very surprised if Crabtree isn't a very good NFL wideout almost immediately - unlike most rookies at his position - and is a Pro-Bowl caliber player by year two in the league. All that being said, it is still very much a pipe dream at this point.
  4. Yeah, I wish my lines came outta the News sometimes haha. I was really impressed by the way Villanova played against UCLA on Saturday. I don't know if Duke will have an answer for Dante Cunninghame inside and I think they'll struggle with the athleticism of Villanova's guards - especially Corey Fischer and Scotty Reynolds. Reynolds is way too quick for Scheyer. I think I might take both them and Kansas on the ML and possibly parlay them as well. UConn seems like a good bet too as long as it stays around 6 or 7.
  5. Nice night on Thursday! I'm doing okay right now, thanks. I cleaned up pretty well yesterday again with Cuse, Arizona, and Mizzou all covering for me. I had Pitt too, but at -8. That miss sucked, but I had Missouri at -2.5 so that miracle baseline cover really made up for it. I have the Louisville/Zona line at 8 1/2 opening right now, where did you get the -1 line??? Other opening lines I like are UConn -6, Villanova ML over Duke and leaning towards another ML with Kansas over Michigan State. Sherron Collins and Cole Aldrich are dominant right now. Louisville could beat Arizona by 15-20, so I may take them as long as they are giving up under double digits. Seems like most things went the way they were supposed to this past weekend, hope it continues.
  6. Yeah I know, that was pretty bad. I almost got the back door on the Pitt game laying 9, that woulda been nice. Been a lot of great games these last two days though, wow.
  7. Yeah I am, thanks. Good guess with the college hoop lines haha. Just an injury to my lower back, which is much better than what my car ended up like. Hit n run too, luckily they found the guy. People these days...
  8. Sorry I'm just getting back on here, got into a bad car accident at 11 am on Thursday on my day off for the tournament start. Worst luck ever. Only got bets in on the late games that day, but that Cleveland State money line was beautiful, but FSU put a little dent in it. Choke artists that they are, they should have cruised to a win. That's betting though. I'm playing Memphis -9 pretty big today I think after just cashing the Nova game. I'm also leaning towards Oklahoma -6 1/2 and Western KY +11 1/2.
  9. So that's why we haven't beaten them in 11 games....
  10. Thank God. For a second there I thought this was going to be a "Wah Mort hates us " thread.
  11. Isn't it funny how almost every year guys like Beanie run much better at their school's pro days than at the combine? There's absolutely no way Wells ran under 4.4 IMO. I would love to know how one goes from a 4.59 to a 4.36 in the 40 in a span of under a month.
  12. Riveting analysis. Isn't that the same thing most people said about a certain player prior to March 7th?
  13. It actually involves Tony Siragusa, Don Imus, and one of the (girls) from the Rutgers womens basketball team. Sorry.
  14. Maybe all the newbies have just had a few too many shots of jameson already..
  15. You're right, it is baseless to call this Sal guy a TSW poster, but it is just as baseless to assume that he is going to be accurate with everything he puts out there just because he broke one story in the past.
  16. Every point you try to make on this board become redundant as hell rather quickly. "Jay Cutler had ELITE talent around him and is an average quarterback" "4.8 Yards Per Carry" "Sal broke the T.O. story!!" Over and over and over again with all of it.
  17. My second cousin's girlfriend's roomate's brother who goes to Boston College just told me he spotted B.J. Raji with a Pats hat on. I doubt we draft him now.
  18. Best news I've heard all day. Adam Schefter - now he is a reliable source.
  19. We're obviously just going to have to agree to disagree on what constitutes the degree of possibility of a move like that happening.
  20. There hasn't been any hard evidence of them making a play for Cutler yet, just like their hasn't been any hard evidence of them undoubtedly not making a play for him. Unless your going to put all your eggs in cousins Sal's basket and end any sensible speculation that could make us a match for Cutler.
  21. 1. How do you know that was their motive to make a play to sign Owens? 2. So? 3. Cutler has publicly demanded a trade, and he and his parents have both sold their Denver-area homes. You don't think that teams across the league have taken notice of this and that multiple teams, including possibly the Bills, have inquired about making a deal? 4. How many media outlets were reporting Bills interest in T.O. in the days leading up to the signing?
  22. SO WHAT if he broke one story? I have a friend who is dating someone whose father high up in the Bills organization, that doesn't mean I expect him to break every new story that involves free agents or trades and be 100% accurate all the time. If you think some Sal guy who operates his own website and breaks Bills rumors from word of mouth of his relatives in the organization is always going to be spot on, you're nuts.
