  1. In the article they actually say that he's "questionable", not "doubtful" as in the title. Odd.
  2. I've taken a vow of silence since Wednesday so that I can be in rare form at the Ralph come Sunday!
  3. Bills- 31 Bucs- 10 Big day for both Owens and Evans and the Bucs have trouble moving the ball all day long.
  4. Finally a logical point. However, I'm thinking more along the lines that zero tolerance sounds like a good idea for this board, rather than the Bills. At what point can we implement that type of policy and quickly dispose of people like yourself?
  5. There's the correct answer. They both bring good things to this team. Since when was having two very good backs a problem? Sure seems like many around here are trying to make it into one.
  6. I am so sick to my stomach that even tough I want to, I can't respond to this post, nor any others, logically. Goodnight.
  7. Joey Galloway and Fred Taylor were marquee players 5 years ago, not now.
  8. Ah the irony. I'm wondering how senile you must be to not grasp what he meant by "did last night count?".
  9. Bills: 24 Pats*: 20 Maybin comes flying around the edge and forces a Brady fumble on a 3rd down play with less than 2 minutes left and the Patriots* attempting to drive down the field for the winning score. Game over.
  10. 4 days before the season opener the OP is the least of my concerns. And I like it that way.
  11. I really like his first two as well and did the same thing as you with NC State last week. Maybe I was just too excited to bet the first game of the year, but I really thought Russell Wilson was better than that. Didn't have much time to throw in the game, though. Luckily Norte Dame and Bama both played damn well and covered for me. That Texas game seems almost too easy. I just hope they don't get up TOO big in the first half and coast through the 2nd half with vanilla plays and some starters on the bench. That's what killed me in the Penn St. game Saturday. Had the spread covered by half-time and they let AKRON outscore them in the 2nd half in Happy Valley . However, it is being played in Wyoming FYI. Not like it's a tough place to into for the Longhorns, though. I really don't know if Ohio St. has the athletes on defense to keep up with USC (especially McKnight, Johnson, and Gable running the ball) on Saturday night. Offensively, I think Pryor will move the ball a bit by creating a lot on his own, but I don't know how many holes Herron is going to get against USC. Especially considering their O-line wasn't exactly blowing Navy off the blocks last Saturday. FWIW, I'm leaning the other way on this one. I think USC's huge edge in talent on both sides of the ball, particularly in the trenches and at RB, will mask the fact that Barkely is a freshman enough for it to be a 14-20 point win for the Trojans.
  12. Mannnnnnn that lame-ass excuse pisses me off. That's what everyone said last year when almost all thought Seattle, Jacksonville, and San Diego were going to make the beginning of the season a disaster, Miami was going to suck again, The Pats* were going to win 14 games, etc. Before the year begins, the schedule means JACK SH*T so stop acting like it does. Teams get better. Team get worse. Guys get injured. No one can predict any of those things accurately enough to start crying about a "killer schedule". Please stop it.
  13. Not too surprising. I always thought Haggan was a pretty good player when he was on our team...
  14. Oh, you mean all of the vaunted pass rushers left on the Patriots? Like Adalius Thomas whose 5 sacks last season were the MOST of any guy remaining on their team since the Seymour trade? Or Seymour's replacement, Jarvis Green, who mustered the same amount of sacks as Chris Kelsay last season (2)? Or any other player on the defensive line that didn't have more than 2 sacks. Yeah, we're really going to have our hands full with those pass rushers . The Patriots defensive front is going to be considerably average this season, IMO. This isn't exactly the worst group of pass rushers for this line to get their first test against by any stretch of the imagination.
  15. While I don't exactly agree with the timing of the Walker release among other things, I am all for the sentiment of a new, young, smart, and hopefully talented, offensive line jelling together. I'm also in an unusually good mood today so, AMEN!
  16. 5 DAYS AWAY!!!!! Man, I'm getting pumped. I don't care what kind of a mess our organization appears to be right now, anything can happen when a new season is about to begin. I just spiked my secretary's double double from Tim Horton's. Thinking about starting a "Shout" chant in the office. I need football. Right now.
  17. I really don't understand this. It has to be about money. If their logic was that Bell was performing better at LT than Walker, then the best move for the team, not their wallet, would have been Bell - Wood - Hangartner - Butler - Walker. That's what should have been done weeks ago if they really saw Bell as their answer at LT. Levitre could fill in at both guard spots and even a bit at right tackle if need be. Walker is a good RT, and was probably the most consistent damn offensive lineman on the team last season. Now we have an incredibly inexperienced tackle protecting Trent's blindside, along with two rookies and a guy (Butler) switching positions with Chambers as the main safety valve. What a joke.
  18. That's a good one. Damn did they look good on Saturday, too. I don't know if there is a better wide receiver combo in the country than Michael Floyd and Golden Tate right now.
