Hopefully he can come back to how he was in 2005. He sucked last year.

Play to win...Always or Sometimes?
PhinBlitz9955 replied to WVUFootball29's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree 100%. Last year in week 17, Miami came down to the last play of the game with the chance of beating the Colts. They lost but I wasn't as upset as if the game had been played in week 2. I figured okay they get a higher draft pick now. Not bad. -
Is JaMarcus Russel the next vince young?

Of course it makes you happy. Just like Buffalo's linebackers and corners make me happy. Have a good one. -

Ughhhhhhh. Absolutely terrible. If they give up anything more than a 6th round pick for Green then it's a terrible trade. The guy is 37 years old, had a severe concussion, and had a bad year. I don't even want to get started on Culpepper. I thank Nick Saban (stupid son of a ......) for his brilliant decision to take him over Drew Brees. -

I agree 100%. Hopefully Quinn will be that long-term starting pro for the Miami Dolphins. -

Yes the reciever arguement is good because Tennessee's recievers are fantastic. Bennett (1 good year) and a bunch of 3rd reciever at best guys. Bennett is gone now so they have even less. -
Would it be surprising if Miami traded up for Quinn?
PhinBlitz9955 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well I know their 3rd round pick (#71 I believe) will only make it a 15 point difference in Miami's favor. I could see Washington taking that or maybe asking for the 60th pick. -
If you look at the draft chart, pick 40 is way too much to move up 3 spots there. Their 3rd round pick is much more equal value. It could even be the 60th pick. No way they give up the 40th pick to move up 3 spots.

Vince Young on Madden Cover

I think a New England logo should be placed on the cover. -

VY will be a way better passer than Michael Vick. It won't even be close. He threw 1 more interception than touchdown and it was only his rookie year. Michael Vick won't be half the player Vince Young will be. Vince Young will be a better passer, a better runner, and he is an amazingly clutch player. The Titans, led by him, will have at least 1 Superbowl victory in their future. -

Trent Green Trade to Miami "Imminent"
PhinBlitz9955 replied to BenchBledsoe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Green is definitely an upgrade over Daunte Culpepper. He has not proven he can play without Moss. He was terrible in 2005 in Minnesota before he was injured (6 TDs and 12 INTs). He is no longer mobile, makes questionable decisions, and is not even fully healthy yet. Releasing or trading him saves Miami $1.3 million in cap room. Green is good for 2 reasons. He upgrades Miami's QB for the short term and he will be a great tutor to any QB they take on day 1 whether it be Quinn, Russell, Edwards, Stanton, Kolb, or Beck. -

There's a huge difference between Zach and Green. Zach is still playing at the highest level he's ever played. Green is coming off a major concussion and did not play well after the injury. I doubt Miami gives up anything more than a 6th for Green because they have all the leverage. I don't know why I'm even talking about Thomas being traded because there is no talk of it. -

I've only heard one rumor regarding Zach Thomas in a trade and that was to Denver and it was over a month ago. He won't go anywhere but if they were to shop him I'd say he can get Miami a 2nd round pick at least. He is still one of the top 3 MLBs in the game. -
I'm thinking it's going to be Calvin Johnson. In the past week I've heard that he is by far the #1 prospect on their draft board, I've heard Brett Favre guarantee that Randy Moss will be in Green Bay this season, and I've heard that Oakland is interested in Josh McCown and Daunte Culpepper. Now the #1 prospect being CJ, sending your best player (who is a WR that can help a rookie QB) to Green Bay, and interest in other QBs leads me to believe that they will take Johnson.

Well I know Crennel really likes Brady Quinn and Phil Savage (their GM) is absolutely in love with Jamarcus Russell so I'm not sure what would happen there. As for Miami, I think they'd be happy with Russell. The only doubt in my mind is that there is this one guy on the Dolphins message board that I post on that gets inside information (the guy is actually legit and not just one of these stupid people that claim to have "sources") about the NFL. He said there is one team (doesn't know who) that picks from the 7ish-17ish range that needs a QB and projects Russell to be a 2nd rounder. This mystery team I guess has Brady Quinn and Kevin Kolb as their two top QB prospects. It will be interesting to see if this materializes. Quinn is definitely my #1 QB though and I hope Miami does anything possible to get him. -

From what I've been reading, Oakland will take Johnson with the 1st pick, Cleveland will take Russell with the 3rd pick, and Miami will trade their 1st and 3rd rounders to Washington to get Quinn at pick 6. -
Tennessee still talking to San Diego about Turner.

Sorry my mistake. I was thinking the highest tender was two 1st rounders because I remember that's what was being talked about for Brees last year. -

No I dont know what it means . He's a middle of the road lineman. He's not good, he's not bad. Did you ignore the rest of what I wrote cause it's true? -

Shouldn't you be looking for a RB, # 2 WR, TE, O-Line, LBs, and CBs? -

PhinBlitz9955 replied to Spikes16's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Miami defense is improved and the offense will be improved. The Bills are MUCH worse than last year. You can't lose 4 out of your top 6 players, get basically nothing back, and have no running back and expect to be better. -
This is the what's going to happen draft day
PhinBlitz9955 replied to billybob's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No way Weddle lasts to round 3. There's talk of him being a late 1st rounder. Also, do you have any idea that you need a RB? -

PhinBlitz9955 replied to Spikes16's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No chance for a Bills win this year. Miami's defense is loaded. Losman won't know what hit him. The offense will be much better with the return of Ricky and most likely a new QB. NO sacking Culpepper 83 times this year boys. -

PhinBlitz9955 replied to Cornerville's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
4-12 if you're lucky. No RB. Dockery is not a good offensive lineman, he's average. Same with Walker. No linebackers. Kiwaukee Thomas at corner? 10-6 is crazy. -
You guys need a RB. Anthony Thomas? Come on now.
