  1. Yeah - I was hoping you didn't forget the best OL on the team!
  2. Whomever it is might get showered with beer bottles.
  3. Tom Dempsey Julian Nunnemaker Coy Wire Curtis Brown Fred Smerlas
  4. I always seem to root for the Packers when I watch them on TV. Small town team, large on class and consistently a good team.
  5. My favorite was in the Bills vs. Raiders AFC Championship game - 1990. It was near the end of the game & the Bills were just destroying them. Jamie Mueller pulled out of the backfield and leveled their corner or safety sooooo hard. You could hear the SMACK of helmets thru the TV sound. I think the Raider player had to leave the field.
  6. Remember the Rock Pile well. Usually sat in the $5 end zone wooden bleacher seats. Some kid stole my mom's purse once. A good Samaritan caught him & made the kid bring it back and apologize. My dad would always park in private house's front lawns to save a couple of bucks (the cheap bastard!). You didn't want to mess with those guys, or you would come back after the game with 4 slashed tires.
  7. I'd rather bring back Boom Herron.
  8. I get what you are saying. But man - if I was a Buffalo News Columnist my job would be a piece of cake. Just wait for the next Bills (or Sabres) snafu & write an article about how you know better. That's easy! It's bad enough we've had a 500 team for the past ump-teem years, but to read our so called Buffalo Sports Media (support) people nip at the heels of hind-sight, it's such a downer! I wish the Bflo News would can Sullivan. I'd much rather listen to Sal Capaccio who is insightful, positive, and wants Buffalo Sports to improve and shine a good light on WNY.
  9. Thanks Bill. It is refreshing to read/see a "good news" post once in a while, instead of a beaten dead horse (drought) post. Ralph was a good dude, even though he had that cheap rap bestowed upon him.
  10. If it is in our cap budget, bring anyone & everyone in for a look-see. What do we have to loose? Our drafting during the drought as been bad. WE NEED DEPTH!
  11. OK, Sullivan is right. Whaley is a bad GM. Fire Whaley's a$$. Who's next in the execution line? Jerry can't wait for McDermott to fail - that is his M.O. Again, laying in wait like a lion by the watering hole. Does Sullivan have any suggestions on whom should be our GM? Our "Football Czar"? = NO he doesn't. I always watch the Sports Reporters on ESPN Sunday's. Sullivan wouldn't be allowed to step foot on that set - same with WGR Mike Schopp. These guys make their bones by trying to be controversial and negative. We Bills fans shouldn't settle for 17 years of Bills playoff drought, and we shouldn't settle for mediocre hack journalism either.
  12. You are correct, but to my previous post, if the Bills were "good", Sullivan would not have anything meaningful to write about. He is like a vulture preying upon dead carcasses. I have rarely seen him write a commentary piece that was positive, insightful, and left the reader feeling well informed and "good" about what they read.
  13. Back on topic to the original post - Jerry Sullivan would never survive in a large media market. He is soooo in his comfort zone writing about Buffalo sports teams, because he is never challenged publicly. Jerry's sole purpose is to generate controversy, and he does this by stirring up the negativity pot. So in a sense, he is good at that. But as a journalist, I think he sucks. He cuts 'n pastes the same negative drivel over & over. I would love to see Pegula hold a news conference and call Sullivan out as being a negative, uniformed hack. I'm not sure Jerry could hold a meaningful job anywhere but here in Buffalo.
  14. You know what they say about guys with big hands, right? He's probably got big feet too.
  15. Breakout Season in 2017? = Tyrod Taylor
  16. I heard the Chargers pegged FA Groy as a right tackle prospect for them. He then would have been called a FA-RT. (glad we resigned him!)
  17. Don't be such a knob. Do not read it then mister Hall of Famer.
  18. I think we will pick up a punter at #10
  19. They did draft a WR last year - Listenbee. And we don't have a clue how good (or bad) he might be, 'cause he didn't play due to injury
  20. Another Leif Larson physical specimen that may not pan out? I don't know much about this guy, other than what I am reading from the experts at TBD!
