  1. I played little league in the City of Buffalo for about 5 years (Kensington Little League), and 1 year Junior High. Actually played on the same team as Jim Burt - nose tackle for the Super Bowl Giants. Small world...
  2. Brady is so old his balls look deflated.
  3. The Buffalo Bills missed their chance to go to the first Super Bowl. Lost to Kansas City 31-7. Was played in the Rock Pile. I was 8 years old at the time, but still remember listening to it on the radio. Time for some revenge this Sunday! Go Bills!!!
  4. I think he was serious, and.....please don't call him Shirley....
  5. Well, I'd take that one over the "look what I just did!" celebration garbage most players do.
  6. did we still have Marlin Briscoe then?
  7. Bosa was by far the best player on the field today.
  8. that's 2 games in a row with a terrible hail Mary coverage. Who's coaching these guys!
  9. You too huh! Josey sure wasted a lot dudes in that one.
  10. Good analogy on Sestak. I think I agree with you here.
  11. Sweet! How about Marlon Briscoe. He was determined to be a quarterback but found his niche as an outstanding wide receiver with the Bills and other AFL teams
  12. I too remember going to Niagara university to see the Bills training camp. But even before NU, they held practice at the Treadway Inn (?) In Hamburg off the I90. It was there that I got Jack Kemp's autograph in the mid 60s.
  13. Gerald Booth Lusteg (December 18, 1938 – July 12, 2012) was a placekicker in the American Football League and the National Football League who played for the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers. Lusteg played football professionally for four seasons. He retired in 1969.
  14. Mike Stratton. Ask Keith Lincoln!
  15. Veering slightly off topic on players, but a big shout out to the original trainer Abe Abronowski! Something about Buffalo brings out loyalty and longevity in people, yes?
  16. Ha! Or Tom Cousineau! (that scum bag)....
  17. I've read some NFL writers (yes, Larry Felser) say that Gilchrist was even better than Jim Brown.
  18. Yes. OJ was the best, but I'm curious about everyone's favorite.
  19. Great choice! He was a battering ram!
  20. Yes I'm an old timer. Followed the Bills as a kid in the 60s. My favorite is Bobby Chandler. Great hands and phenomenal out of bounds awareness. Who's yours?
  21. McGuire was supposedly a really funny dude. In the book "OJ, education of a rich rookie", McGuire hosted a halloween party. He said to OJ - "Juice, why don't you stick a broomstick up your a$$ and come as a fudgesicle !"
  22. Not sure if it was a trade or free agent - but my favorite was Frank Lewis from the Steelers
  23. White tops with blue pants are my favorites. Joe Cribbs, Frank Lewis, Haslett, etc...
