Are you still on the Shakir in round 5 thing? Many draft pundits said we got a steal with him at 5. Draftniks pegged him at round 4, even 3. Bottom line, Bills should have played him much more to see if we has that diamond in the rough.

Just another head scratching philosophy of McDermott regarding rookie playing time. Our coaching staff is waaay to conservative in many facets of the game. Playing rookies is one of them.

I came away with the obvious thought that the Bills coaching is way behind the Chiefs and Eagles. But the biggest thing I thought about during the game was, will our head coach & coordinators LEARN from what they witnessed coaching wise - or will they continue their stubborn philosophies which IMHO will never get us over the hump.

Painting a huge part of the field was a bad decision. Players were sliding all over the place.

I understand the OP comments. Seems like the "poisonous" label come more from missing out on the super bowl, suspect coaching, bad drafting etc. For me the poisonous comment stems more from (a lot) of the board members sniping at one another. This board is supposed to be fun and to share thoughts about the Bills and football. Too many posters are determined to prove their thoughts and comments are always right, even if it means in-fighting with other members. Please loose the always right attitudes everyone! It's keeping many of us from wanting to share our thoughts in a fun, respectful way.
