More strange Bills crap
-
Good poll and the 40-60% majority seems right. There are very few people who can become good NFL QBs, but EJ hasn't been given much of a chance yet, so his odds are as good as any first-round pick...about 50-50.
-
After watching the practices and game, the player I would most like to see on the Bills roster next season is Tyler Varga. IMO, he exemplifies the ultimate football player. I know we have other glaring needs, but if he's there with one of the 5th rd picks I'd snatch him.
Varga made himself a lot of money on Saturday. Hopefully it is from Mr. Pegula's pocketbook in 3rd or 4th round. He is something Spiller isn't. Can run between the tackles, ply FB, catches passes and would be a special teams stud.

Ball boy?

To the OP, thanks for the detailed post. The honeymoon for Ryan won't last long in Buffalo. But, as someone said, he can hardly be worse than Marrone...or can he? Gulp
-
No-one wants to work for Ryan, except his NY buddies.
-
Line is a mess inside the tackles.

Russ Brandon hired this tool as head coach in about five minutes and gave him that $4,000,000 opt out clause. How is Brandon still employed?

To the OP, Roman sounds like a very good fit with EJ as QB and Ryan as HC. I love running plays and Buffalo is - weather-wise and conference-wise - a good place to pound the ball and control the clock. Combined with a superior D, this kind of approach makes total sense. I'll bet Fred Jackson wishes he was a few years younger, but Boobie Dixon might be just what Roman needs. Spiller will likely be allowed to leave and they'll probably draft a new RB along the lines of Gore.
Compare this scenario with what Hackett and Marrone tried to do and it is a big upgrade. Even with the same Olinemen. (Will be interesting to see if they develop Richardson into a good starting guard, but I expect they will.)

Marrone backed out of Denver interview "to explore other options" according to NFL Network. Options like what?
-
Let's start a pool on the date Whaley quits (or is "fired"). I think Whaley has made some big messes, but I feel sorry for him, having to deal with an even bigger bully than Marrone. He is going to get squeezed out by Rex and his horde of ex-Jet coaches, entourage etc.
He'll last through the draft, but I doubt if he's here next year. Just my feeling.

Looks a bit like Target Canada and we now know how that worked out.

This is what happens when you hire a clown...the real talent wants out. But the Bills love a circus, so there's that.
-
I did not make this up. I saw the Bills loge recognized Brandon and then realized who he was with.
But answer the question: was Hackett serving them their eggs and bacon?
-
At least we won't have the Syracuse amateur hour running the O.

If you were Schwartz, would you want to work for Ryan? Butted heads.com

George Costanza as Assist. GM.

Heading down I-90 to Blo with Daddy.

Marrone + Hackett = 2 wasted years fpr EJ and Bills
-
Good for Whaley. Marrone threw a season of EJ's development away.
Just don't saddle him with Howdy Doody again.
-
Did Hackett buy Joe a beer or two?
-
wow, all of a sudden the red-headed puppet is an offensive genius! Only in Buffalo...
-
I think mine would be: what do you see in E.J. Manuel and how do you win with him as starter?
Yours?
-
Brandon is a Wilson hangover and Pegula needs to get rid of him for that reason alone. Pile on his incompetent football sense and the insane contract he gave his Syracuse bum boy and the conclusion is obvious.
Kiko or Shady? Go on record

Running backs are a dime a dozen and last about as long as a dozen doughnuts. Giving up a linebacker with Alonzo's talent is only Bills logic.
