  1. If you say so. I regard him as a jackass who never played sports and certainly knows nothing about football. I listen to be be better informed about sports; it's supposed to be a sports station, not a gossip show telling us what his little kid or dog did yesterday.
  2. That station needs 1. A new program director 2. New morning and afternoon hosts 3. A football reporter Then it might be decent.
  3. That would be a Schopp idea. He's in love with the insane idea that sports radio hosts are relevant.
  4. Just forget about it. Why would a team trade a so-ca;;ed ;eft tackle for anything other than what we could affordcin draft picks? As someone said, just watch him being a Mike Williams while we give up a top 10 pick in 2011.
  5. To Don, I say, "Don, how can we be worse than last year? I know that the AFC East is a little stronger, but we lost most of those games last year anyway. Where we have improved - in case you haven't noticed - is in our front office and coaching. No group of fools could do worse than Brandon and Jauron. We still have the same starters, with the exception of Woods and TOOL, and we've added some intere4sting FAs and draft picks. Surely, our injuries won't be as severe. Our defense is entirely different and should be stronger. Our offense will not be great, but we have one new weapon and much better coaching. Will this not result in some small improvement? So, I say, Don, why are we in trouble?"
  6. Pricks like him are why we won't be watching real NFL next year. Oh yea, plus pricks like Al Davis who hand them the money.
  7. I have the same feeling, that we finally do have a direction (hopefully not DOWN!) You have to remember that Lombardi wanted the job as our GM and when he was lobbying for it on Buffalo sports stations, he said we needed to get bigger. Nix and Gailey have done what Lombardi wanted to do and now he craps on them! Though to be fair, it sounds like Faulk did most of the bad-mouthing. That arrogant dude has something against the Bills. Maybe he's a buddy of Mortensen's. Anyway, we will all remember what they said and come december maybe we can throw it back into their smug faces.
  8. Forget about the players. the positions I'm interested in are the position coaches: especially QB coach Cortez will these new coaches be able to compete in the AFC East? That is the real question.
  9. Poor little Lee can't get open In Buffalo. I'm sure there many other teams that would pay him $9 million a year for his great talent.
  10. Brown to PS, the others 1,2 and 3, in whichever order they merit. None of these guys have big contracts (for NFL QBs), so B&C have no reason to start one over the other except that he gives us the best chance of winning. Personally, I think Edwards will start game one, but doubt if he will ever convince the Bills fan base he is their franchise QB. (Apparently, he's not a "Buffalo" guy.) It would be best for him if they worked out a trade pre-season. Whoever is in there is going to take a beating, in mho.
  11. Wow, tennesseeboy, quoting poetry on TBD. Amazing. Didn't know they studied the stuff in Tenn. Anyway, that is a perfect quote for a fan of the Bills, because our reach (the Super Bowl) definitely exceeds our grasp. Well done.
  12. I am not counting on ANY of the players he mentioned, except Levitre, who seems like a solid, average guard.. Some won't even be on the team. The only young guy I am counting on is Spiller. He looks great...and he better be.
  13. Ask yourself this, will Lee Evans take us to a Super Bowl? What would the top teams like New Orleans or Indy with top qbs give up to get Evans? My sense - I might be wrong - is that they wouldn't be that interested in Little Lee, especially with his salary. I doubt if you could trade Lee, and what does that tell you? That we're stuck with him.
  14. This is a very thorough and knowledgeable post on what the Bills draft was about. I hope others read it. People need to know what the new regime is changing before they can understand these picks. Chan and Buddy know football.
  15. Yeah, I can't stand WGR, but can't pull in WECK. Have tried often. Get a better transmitter and then ditch the hockey love. We are football fans.
  16. Most overpaid player on the team and what's worse it is not in position of need. Another big mistake by the previous FO. Chan and Buddy must be shaking their heads, because they are stuck with little Lee and his big salary. Little Lee and his big salary.
  17. Is punt returning enough to keep Roscoe on an NFL team, even in Buffalo? Is a cap hit thing?
  18. Yeah and Keep certain former Bills' players (who still reside in Buffalo) away from him.
  19. Who knows if they'll be any good in 2010? Nobody. They might not win a game or they might win 10. Nobody knows what a brand-new bunch of coaches are going to do with all the new players (let alone some of the talented old ones), how the 3-4 will stop the run better, how Edwards will perform this year, how Spiller's speed will translate to TDs and wins. All i know is it just feels different and that is something to look forward to. No Levy, no Jauron, no Turk, no Doughboy, no Perry. I am not usually a kool-aid drinkers, but hey, if you can't be excited in April, then when? I don't understand those who have already given up.
  20. Gonna be fun to watch the Bills this year. Hope he stays healthy.
  21. Yeah, Capers or Washington...somebody who can play. But no, they'll likely take another running back from a Canadian college.
