  1. Hey, they had their pick of him or Martin, plus 3 great WRs and they picked him, so I'm more than satisfied. He is a big fella to get around.
  2. Think Colts pick 1st and Martin was Luck's LT at Stanford, so figure that's a fit. Then Washington will likely pick Glenn to protect their new star QB. So Buddy, you better be prepared to be disappointed because I don't think you'll be able to move up for them. Too bad, because Glenn would be the perfect fit for the Bills. Maybe Mike adams won't be a total bust...
  3. If Tannehill is there at 10 (which I doubt), they'll take him. You don't sign Mario Williams and then delude yourself into thinking Fitzpatrick can carry the offense. Half-steps won't cut it. They need a franchise QB and this may be the best chance to draft one for a few years. Don't know why this is hard to figure out, but it probably won't matter because someone else (Miami) likely will grab him.
  4. You're right, but what if he does falter or is injured? We have no credible backup. How can an organization go into yet another season with only one guy who can compete in the NFL and a questionable one at that? Oh yeah, it's the Bills we are talking about. Hopefully, they'll draft some kid who is ready to step up, but what are the odds of that?
  5. Well-done. Don't know much about the OTs or Foles, but seems like a drfat with lots of needs covered and two good players in first two picks.
  6. What are these non- QB guys really going to add? A number two WR a questionable LB, a good guard, the others complete gambles... If Tannehill is there, maybe he is worth a #10. We definitely need a young QB who is better than Fitzfuzzy.
  7. He already has, I suggest, after watching his games.
  8. Good draft but where and when do we get the most important ingredient - a starting QB who you can win with? Until we do...
  9. Voted Decastro. Seems like he is easily the BPA given our choices and that is what you do in the first round. He plays RG and we have one hell of an inside OL for Fred and CJ.
  10. well, we now seem have the updated version of Bruce Smith, but still lack the updated versions of Bennett, Reed, Lofton and most obviously KELLY. What can you win with Ryan F?
  11. Looks like he is the only sure thing at 10. In other words, the best player and the best value at 10. Take him and watch the offense move it.
  12. Ted Rogers/Ralph Wilson were/are the P.B. Barnums of their day and countries.
  13. This is probably the best perspective on what the Bills mean to Buffalo that I have seen. It is on this website for your edification. By and large, it suggests that pro sports teams are more of a cost than benefit to their communities, though the "psychological effect" of having a team in town counters this. Assures us that life would go on without NFL in Western NY. But read it for yourself and comment.
  14. Where was Schitz against Cinci and the Jets WHEN IT COUNTED? c'MON...ANSWER.
  15. Welcome, but don't expect much love from the Fitz lovers here. They like his beard too much to listen to football arguments.
  16. Agree with the notion that it is stupid to attack the OP for raising a good voting choice. Personally, if I was Buddy and actually had a choice of drafting Mario Williams - such a delusion! - at the cost of losing Dropsie Johnson, guess how long it would take me to sign the contract?
  17. WalterFootball now has Buffalo taking M. Ingran over Upshaw AND another DE (Branch from Clemson) in the second. Talk about going 4-3 crazy!
  18. WalterFootball has Coples ranked 7th overall. Be nice if he was there. He's the 4-3 DE they need if theyre switching. Upshaw was invisible in Senior Bowl except when a QB ran into him once. Would like him but not at 10.
  19. Still need the star behind center before we're a good team.
  20. You mean liked re-signing TO in March, or maybe this time Ocho Cinco?
