OP was right. This has been a good measuring stick for Smith and guess what, he has come up very short. I would think that he is now well behind the big guy, Glennon?, and the two Tylers, Wilson and Bray, and maybe even Barkley. Some clown GM will think he is RGIII or Can Newton, so he'll be drafted in first round, but anyone who does is getting a pop gun arm and a burst balloon head. Oh well, he would still be better than what we got..

This should be its own thread, but if you had your choice, who would be your first, second and third firings? My order would be: 1. Ryan...clean out your locker. 2. If I could also fire Buddy, I'd say, 'turn the keys over to Doug' and enjoy your grandchildren in retirement. 3. Since, there is no way Chan can be kept as head coach, I'd tell him: you are fired too unless our new HC wants you as OC. 4. I'd then look around for a head coach and a GM (if I found one better than Whaley, he'd be following Buddy out the door. But in reality, I'll be happy if Ryan is cut.

I like Chan, but he made a horrible decision to put his career on the line with Fitzpatrick. If Chan goes, the bearded QB better be close behind.

Don't want Whaley either. You and I know nothing about him except that he carries the stink of losing on him. That's enough to bring in fresh minds at GM, Coach and QB. Total CLEAN house. No stink left.

Leave the loser in at QB. We need to lose out. (In actuality, I would have loved to see what Jackson has earlier, but now we need to lose, so I'd rather have Ryan in there).

The last two games certainly DO matter. Those who want two wins must love Fitz, Chan and Buddy. And lesser players in the draft. That makes no sense to me.

The DC is way too passive. No wonder the players lack heart, because their coach lacks the guts to blitz.

Buddy has failed in his drafting, by not providing a Plan B for quarterback in case the big signing of Fitz failed (which it has), and the hiring of the worst D coordinator I have ever witnessed in operation. Buddy himself said it when he was hired: "Show me the baby". Well, his baby is a 3year old toddler now, and man is it ugly! You can't flog a baby, but you can fire its parent.

Could be sarcastic here, but instead I will totally agree that we need a "big pciture" football guy...but unfortunately Ralph already tried that (Donahoe) and it burned him. So expect the organization currently in place - very de-centralized - until his final breath.

Ralph Wilson should give it up for the sake of the fans..

Glad I didn't go to Toronto and pay money for this absolute give-up.

This team will finish last next year. Better hope for a top QB in 2014.
