Brandon is almost forced to sign the Bird, simply because he has constantly mouthed the mantra: "we'll do whatever it takes to win". Personally, I don't like Byrd/Parker's tactics (faked injury etc), but find it funny that Russ has painted himself in this corner (plus the giveaway home field corner). These two deserve one another, but not sure the Bills do.

I figure Bills will take a LB in first. Has anyone seen all three of Mack, Barr and Mosely play? If so, which would be your choice? I haven't watched any of them play a down.

Why wait until January? Do it when the Texans did this year and get a head start? The Bills will likely have a losing record by then. It all depends on Ralph. Marrone is a Brandon (Syracuse) boy and Brandon is a Ralph boy, so if those fellas are still in charge, there will be little point in changing coaches...they'll just get another Marrone clone. If there is new ownership, everything opens up: Marrone is gone and one of the big boys comes in. It's hard to hope for new ownership because we all know what that means, but that is basically what meaningful changes in coaching will take.

If he is smart, he will find a way to cancel Toronto game and bring it back next year to Buffalo. This would be the best way he could ever imagine to sell out every home game.

No doubt, the Toronto game cost the Bills a chance at the playoffs. Not only would they have whipped Atlanta like Miami at RWS, but their Toronto loss probably cost them the Tampa game, or at least provided the let-down that made Tampa unwinnable. Wilson doesn't care, however, as it adds to his "Scrooge" net worth.
