Pegula will pay more attention to the pulse of Bills fans than Ralph ever did.
If there is a strong sense among fans and the media that Marrone and/or Hackett can't cut it, then I think he'll act. If he feels there is no real unrest, I'm sure he'll be happy to do nothing.
This thread seems to say that fans won't be satisfied with 8 or fewer wins after 15 straight years missing the playoffs.

I would probably rather see them play Orton the rest of the year.
3 of our last 4 games are guaranteed losses no matter who is QB.
I'd hate for EJ to take the blame for that from all the haters who already know that a 23yr old with 14 starts is a lost cause.
It will be fun to see what excuses the Orton nut huggers come up with to explain away his failures.
Think I agree with this, though we'll see Orton come up with a mysterious injury somewhere mid-December. Whaley wants to see EJ
play a few games.

Marrone has been given credit for saving the season by benching EJ, but in fact it was just another dumb mistake.
With EJ still in, we might miss the playoffs, but see some development.
With Orton in, we might miss the playoffs, but see no development from our first round pick, whom Whaley sees as our future QB.
Just another moronic move by the dumbest coach to ever be hired in BLO.

You guys must be delusional. We had a 2nd and 2 at the 5 and they threw 2 incomplete passes and then kicked a fg. There's the 4 points we needed right there. Then 1st and 10 at the 15 and they threw 4 straight incomplete passes into the endzone where all of their coverage was. How about throwing underneath and picking up the first down? These 2 redzone trips lost us the game. Fumbles happen but bad play calling shouldn't. Fire Hackett

For me, I knew we might lose when we had 2nd and 2 on their 3 yard line and we threw 2 incompletions in a row and opted for the FG. I had a bad feeling from there on out.

Hackett didn't not throw to a wide open Watkins running underneath on 2nd down, nor badly misfire to a wide open Watkins after the DB fell on 4th down...both of those throws would have likely been TDs
