  1. I didn't answer it because I figured the point was moot. The RTP calls were called correctly as per the rules. You hit a QB in the helmet it's 15. You hit a QB below the waist, it's 15.
  2. So, you are suggesting conspiracy then ........... Make up your mind will you.
  3. How daft are you? The Patriots don't make the rules so you can't blame them for it's implementation. Blame the NFL rules committee, of which no Patriot is part of BTW, for bad rules if you have a beef with the rules in the game. As for the calls on the field ..... are you suggesting that the refs are knowingly conspiring to favor the Patriots?
  4. The Patriots act. What are you suggesting? A conspiracy of some sorts is in place that benefits the Patriots? If so, who is all in on this, please.
  5. Appears many of them are thick headed I see.
  6. I'm not penning anything revolutionary here. Some people just don't grasp basic, fundamental rules I suppose. You hit a QB below the waist you're going to get a 15 yarder. You hit a QB in the helmet ....15. It happened to the Ravens yesterday and let's not forget, it also happened to the Pats yesterday as well. People seem to forget that fact!
  7. Ball spots are arbitrary so yeah I suppose some favouritism could happen with them. I certainly don't think it's an epidemic problem benefiting certain teams however.
  8. What the pundits, and apparently other crybabies, don't get is the calls are being administered according to the rules of the game. Yeah, the tuck rule may suck but it's a rule. Yeah, the rule prohibiting hitting a QB below the waist may be a losy rule but it's a current rule. And yes it may suck that a player gets called for 15 for placing his hand upon a QB's helmet but it's a rule. if you want to complain about bad rules that's one thing but to insinuate that the Pats are cheating because of the proper enforcement of rules that's being a crybaby.
  9. Get a grip people. So long as Ralph is running the show this team is destined for failure because he won't bring in the proper people to run his football operations which will mean that the joke we are seeing out on the field in terms of coaches and players will continue. I mean the GM of this team is a marketing guy for crying out loud!
  10. What a bunch of crybabies ......
  11. The salary cap has created a league of similar talent base when it comes to players. The difference between the top teams and the not top teams all boils down to coaching differences.
  12. I think some people "see" beneficial calls even when they don't happen? I have seen penalties called on the coaches before. You have no idea what was said on the sideline so it is inappropriate of you to criticize the penalty. I also saw the Suggs play and he hit Brady low. According to the rules that's a penalty. The rules don't leave much room for interpretation. Touch a guy below the knees ... FLAG! Slap a QBs helmet ... FLAG! Pretty simple stuff.
  13. If you are implying that the refs favored the Pats in today's game then I'm not sure where that is coming from? The penalty calls made on the Brady plays were correctly called. You can't hit a QB in the helmet and you can't hit a QB below the waist. The rules are explicit when it comes to this meaning their is no ref interpretation to be made .... if it happens then it's a penalty. In fact, the refs called the Pats for a 15 yarder for a glancing blow to the head of Flacco in this game as well. The rules for helmet and below the waist shots may or may not suck but the ref's calls in these instances were consistent with the rules.
  14. Harrison is a welcome addition because he calls a spade a spade and isn't shy doing so. He's great for this reason alone.
  15. He had only the Bills interested in him this past offseason when he was available free of draft charge. No team is going to give up a draft pick for an over the hill WR who is still a headcase.
  16. TO's just here to get a paycheck. He accepted losing the day he signed his contract.
  17. Best answer and response.
  18. The Pats haven't signed any of their upcoming FA's because of the uncertainty of the CBA in the future. As Matt says, the Pats no doubt have a plan. And it probably involves opening up Kraft's very deep pockets in order to keep existing players and/or grab top shelf new players. But face it, so long as Belicheck and Brady are on the team, they'll flourish and be favs to win it all.
  19. If that performance was Brady when rusty then hang on tight for when he gets back in gear and starts cranking it up.
  20. Pathetic. Hopefully they'll release the perpetrators name and address if they catch him.
  21. 17 points scored. 5 catches for the top 2 receivers. Here are the Bills offensive possessions from last night: 1. 0 first downs, punt 2. 3 first downs, TD 3. 1 first down, punt 4. 1 first down, punt 5. 1 first down, punt 6. 1 first down, FG 7. 5 first downs, TD 8. 1 first down, game ends A few of these series started with great field possession due to Pats missing on a FG as well as going 0 for on 4th down conversion attempts. And then you add in the bogus penalty on Wilfork. Doesn't look so great to me.
  22. This past offseason Brady said he wants to play for at least another 8 years (most likely in a Pats uni) so you won't be ridding yourself of him anytime soon. And his superior skill is his mind and he aint losing that anytime soon.
  23. What team is going to want to draft this headcase next April knowing that they will then have to worry about trying to sign him? Not many I suspect which will lower his draft slot significantly. The guy blew it and is gonna lose $ millions.
  24. Indeed. I also read the Raiders might be able to go after Seymour for a portion of the signing bonus the Pats paid him as well should he not report for work.
  25. Well, apparently Seymour got his letter from the Raiders on Thursday. He has 5 days from receipt of letter to report and take his physical or else he risks being placed on the did not report list which will find him suspended, without pay, for the year. Seymour gets letter
