  1. He's played as flex but mostly in-line. Bengals ended up having to use corner Leon Hall to try and cover him; didn't work.
  2. That's because you are Japanese Take a look at him compared to LaFell this weekend. He's much bigger than LaFell who is a bigger WR, "listed" @ 210#
  3. http://espn.go.com/blog/boston/new-england-patriots/post/_/id/4767200/quick-hit-thoughts-around-nfl-patriots-25 http://www.pewterreport.com/index.php?option=com_k2&Itemid=20&view=item&layout=item&id=9293 Well, he probably doesn't even know the playbook yet. But, it seems like he's getting it figured out.
  4. Well, there are plenty of poor blocking "TE's" that are thriving in today's NFL. BTW, Wright is up over 235# and looks more like a TE than a WR (not named Megatron) He's been lining up as a TE in NE.
  5. Sure, just like Bengals starting corner Leon Hall covered him last night?
  6. Well, he is lining up as a "TE" in NE. Not that it matters though as plenty of TE's in today's NFL are really WR's yet they didn't produce as Wright did last year. I ask again. Who is going to cover Wright when he lines up in a dual TE set with Gronk?
  7. Well Wright did do something as a rookie TE last year that few have done ..... ever. http://www.numberfir...antasy-football Who will cover him? Well, he does play for a different team this year. With a different QB and paired alongside a different TE. So, my guess is he might be even better this time around.
  8. If the Bills consider Wright a non factor then don't be surprised if he surpasses the 5-85-1 numbers he just posted on the Bengals.
  9. Gotta wonder how the Bills will choose to defend Gronk, Wright and Vereen? Also interesting is what input Pats OC, Josh McDaniels, will have on how to defend his former QB, Orton?
  10. Possibly but my guess is he'll be used mostly as press man up at the LOS and not as a cover guy. He'll be used to take away the quick outside pass and he'll set the edge and pass off coverage behind him to the safeties who, because Revis is in lock down m2m coverage on the other side, should be in great position to cover for the deep ball (the risk with m2m). Having Revis on the other side should free Browner up to do what he does best.
  11. Most likely Browner will be slowly eased into things with focus paid to specific WR's. His best skill is as a press corner where he uses his size and strength to jam his WR at the line, interrupting the timing of the play, while routing the WR to the sideline where only a very good pass can cause trouble. Kinda like how Revis played AJ Green last night.
  12. I agree ... gotta be able to run the ball this game. Those seam passes are what drives the Pats offense. If Gronk and Wright are allowed quick release into the seams it'll be a struggle defending Brady.
  13. There is so much bad in EJ's game that I'm not even sure the coaching staff knows where to start in order to remedy things.
  14. The Seynour trade hurt the Pats on the field no doubt but: Harrison was an upgrade over Milloy Edelman has picked up where Welker left off Revis is an upgrade over Talib. Also, the Pats rush defense, which is #1 in the NFL after 3 games, seems to have adequately replaced Spikes .... and his liabilities in the passing game.
  15. Gronk is still in pre-season mode and Brady's OL is in transition. They'll be right and in order soon and, sure as the sun will set each day, Brady will be back to performing as the QB who sports just 2 losses to the Bills in his entire NFL career.
  16. I wonder if the media will tar and feather nice guy Mike Smith for piling it on like they did Belichick back when?
  17. How do you know AP's intent? The guy has a room for such tactics. The guy made a !@#$in joke about hurting his son's nuts. The guy drew blood ...... on a 4 year old kid. Have you seen the pictures?
  18. Whatever, they are both disgusting excuses of a human being.
  19. A 4 year old kid? If true, AP's a bigger ass than RR. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/09/12/report-peterson-admitted-to-whooping-son-with-a-switch/
  20. Blood is in the water and the sharks are attacking. The sharks will not let up until their prey is gone. It's just a matter of time.
  21. It'll only become something more if the PR problem starts negatively impacting the owners pockets. Then, the guy who they pay to fill those pockets, will not be doing his job and so, is no longer needed to be on their payroll.
  22. If, as he says, Goodell didn't have the 2nd tape then shame on him for being such a brain dead doofus. All Goodell had to do was ask Rice to get a copy of the tape from Rice's attorney, who surely had a copy. Goodell should have made making the 2nd tape available to him a key component of his sentencing verdict. Not that anyone with 1/2 a brain couldn't have logically deduced from the 1st video what actually transpired that night. But I digress.
  23. This is gonna get real ugly for both the Ravens and the league. http://deadspin.com/someone-is-lying-about-whether-the-nfl-saw-the-ray-rice-1631901404
  24. If the first video showed him dragging her limp body around I'd toss him away like a cheap shirt He's a dead ringer for Gollum in my books
  25. Maybe he'll resign before the guys who pay his $75M salary kick him to the curb. I can't imagine he'll want to be remembered as the guy that lied about domestic abuse of woman so he'll exit as an incompetent doofus instead.
