  1. Belichick's MO has always been to add players that give his team the best opportunity to win. He's continuing to do just that this offseason as well. The only difference is this offseason, he actually has cap space available to delve into player acquisitions he might otherwise not have had the chance to do in previous offseasons.
  2. What's better a Ferrari or a Lambo? Same thing here. I would be curious, however, to see just how good Brady could perform if he had weapons as skilled as Rice, Taylor, Clark, Craig and Rathman though. Might see some of that on display this upcoming season.
  3. This seems odd; the Pats paid Revis $12M for the 2014 season and next season they will be paying a safety (McCourty) over $10M annually.
  4. Or to re-sign on a 1 year prove-it deal next year catching balls from Brady.
  5. Rex is a sales guru; the Dale Carnegie of the NFL.
  6. Even if losing Collins causes the Pats to be scored on a few more points per game it really doesn't matter in the outcome if Brady can just score at will.
  7. He's a QB with limited passing skills and excellent running ability. He's a hit or miss player that plays a position that you probably don't want a hit or miss type at the helm ... especially if one of the QB's in the division you play in is named Tom Brady.
  8. not to mention he didn't celebrate excessively out on the field .... since the NFL just stated they are controlling such celebratory antics 'in order that NFL players can be good role models" The NFL are a bunch of hypocrites who care about nothing but making $$$$$. It's no wonder their ratings are down so much.
  9. Presuming the question wasn't meant as a joke, of course. As for deflategate. It was never about science. If it was then the fact that: The starting PSI's of the footballs, which were taken from the ref's memory and each assigned a value of 12.5 The accuracy of the gauges used to measure the ending PSI's were ridiculously inaccurate and horribly calibrated. Would have meant that the claim would have been tossed out once the league consulted with anyone with grade 10 science knowledge or above due to a fatally flawed scientific study. This was about power; the commissioner being able to maintain his power over all things NFL related, as per the CBA.
  10. The Pats gameplan might well be to start JG in order to score a quick 7, replace him with Brissett, and then rely on the defense to limit the Bills to under 7 points for the win. I think that would be a very sound plan.
  11. Theoretically, jamming RF signals could be an issue but, practically, to interfere with a signal, you are talking about producing a sizeable amount of power ...... within the bandwidth of the signals being jammed. If blanket jamming all involved signal transmissions is the objective, one would require a phenomenal amount of transmitter power within that whole Tx band. Possible? yeah, I suppose but not very likely not to mention, illegal. Signed former RF engineer. ;-)
  12. The team's communication team does installs and preventative maintenance in tandem with the league's tech team which has ultimate control. Any communication issues are thoroughly reviewed by the league. The bigger point is ..... if issues happen enough times, and is obviously suspicious to just the Pats, the league, ie opposing owners, would have put an end to any supposed Patriots shenanigans.
  13. Are you saying that Kraft and Goodell are conspiring together to help the Patriots gain an advantage over the other teams ... presumably without other owners knowledge?
  14. Knowing that the NFL is the one mandated to control all communication in the game ..... if this happens enough times, and is obviously suspicious to just the Pats, don't you think the opposing team's ownership would have put an end to it?
  15. Even to the detractors, it's plainly obvious by now. And, if it isn't, it will be by the time they hang em up and call it quits. It's more a time thingy now than anything else.
