  1. For me targeting Patrick Chung in the passing game is critical. If you watch him the last 2+ years he is slow get to receivers in the zone defense, and has lost a step in deep coverage thus giving extra cushion of the snap. i try to get Foster matched up on him in crossing routes, and a deep shot or two. And TE routes that are not curls. You want to catch the ball moving since he likely won’t be tight with coverage. Opportunity for Yards After Catch with well placed throws.
  2. AC/DC has a minimum of 5 songs that could be on the shortlist.
  3. My punishment... They don’t get their full share of revenue from the revenue sharing agreement. Reduce their take by 20-30% and then you’ll see change and a much stricter oversight from owners across the league.
  4. someone needs to get in front of Shaq. Other people talking seems to really elevate his game. upstater1 said: ↑ Well, he's in his 4th year and does about 30 meaningless tackles and about 5 neaningless sacks per year.I am sorry, but for 19th overall pick, that's beyond mediocre.
  5. that’s happening with a song or not.
  6. No just two songs that get me running fast on the treadmill. however a while back many years ago on this board I posted about how they bills could make game day experiences more like a college atmosphere. This included things like... A marching/sideline band there are plenty of talented classically trained musicians in the WNY area get them together and for 8 weeks let them play short snippets of rock songs to get the crowd fired up. Back of tickets stubs that had key queues... - any third down get your keys out of your pocket and jingle them. - show syncronized crowd hand motions for the kickoffs (see Notre dame). - words you some clever bills chants or anti the opponent another good choice could also go with many AC/DC songs. Shoot to Thrill and Shook me All Night Long also are great. how do you figure? A song played at the start of the 4th quarter should have no bearing on people getting drunk and misbehaving.
  7. Love this idea, anything that makes the game more like a college atmosphere and coordinates the fans. For me there are two songs that jump to the top of my list... AC/DC - Thunderstruck. Starts a little slower with some instrumental and a simple chant. Then really kicks it up about 90 seconds in. Black Sabbath - Paranoid. The song opens with one of the best and most recognizable guitar riffs ever and then just is super high octane for 3 minutes.
  8. That is on McDermott, have to challenge that play.
  9. The amount of prep work he does for each game is amazing. He has an afternoon radio show where he essentially breaks down film on the radio of key plays and techniques. He makes it very digestible even over the radio.
  10. “Across the painted numbers” I don’t think ESPN would ever fire a crew mid-season. I’d look terrible. But I highly doubt Tessatore and Booger are back next year. They are the worst listen in all of sports (any sport). No idea why they don’t have Steve Young doing the color commentary for those games. He is at the stadiums for the pre, half, and post game shows. He’s well spoken and explains the game well. Not sure who ESPN could bring in to do play by play. Honestly Mike Breen might be a good option (although he does mostly NBA for them).
  11. radio is so different than TV for play by play Kevin Harlin is #1 on radio play by play followed by the Greg Papa a former CNY guy who is in the SF Bay Area now.
  12. Sounds like it was all part of Brian “from the booth” Daboll’s scheme. Just like he drew it up.
  13. the Westwood one radio crews are the best. Boselli, Trent Green and Warner are good color guys who don’t speak up to much because the playboy play guys need more time for radio. Plus Kevin Harlen is the best voice and play by play in all of football.
  14. Are the ravens in a position where they MUST sign Greg Roman to the largest coordinator deal ever??? Do you play him more than Harbaugh, to ensure he’s there to continue the offensive design around Lamar Jackson?
  15. I honestly don’t think Tre would need top dollar to be happy. If I recall correctly all he wanted to do was buy his mom a house, setup his son for life, and build a community center in his hometown. He’s signed for 4 years for 10m currently (average of 2.5m/year). Extend him 6 years (next year plus five). I think 6 years for 65million might do it. A solid signing bonus and good guarantees.
  16. wolfe is one of the most underrated defensive players in the league in my opinion.
  17. Is Chris Myers not aware that Haskins has played prior to today?!
  18. But he was mentioned as a hot candidate for upcoming head coach jobs. These mentions were baffling to me as great offensive minds have their teams average 25ppg minimum.
  19. Ask and you shall receive. please do this again for the Bills this week.
  20. Take Brady off the Patriots and put him on the Bench behind Allen. Then don’t let him wear a red jersey in practice.
  21. Canton in 12 years would mean a really short career when you factoring the HOF waiting period. But I guess if you win 7 straight Super Bowls you can retire after 8 seasons and still get the jacket.
  22. Love this idea. I have always wanted Pro games to be more like college. I think it would be awesome if they got a band (orchestra) made up of local musicians to play the home games. Maybe the “band” together slogan means this? Could take the stadium fan factor to or to an even better level. I think players would love it.
  23. I had the exact same thought last night.
