Was it a wet dream?

Not hiring an OC?
He will keep Van Pelt to fetch him a donut every once and a while!
-
Nix said he got 35-40 calls the first week, from names that would surprise people. !"
That doesn't mean that they are quality names... just surprises. It could have been calls from a bunch of CFL coaches, the groundskeepers at the Ralph, or Conan O'Brien

After being a Bills fan, a Leafs fan, and a Jays fan for so long, I should really have a lot of advice on this matter!

"The beauty of the 49ers' draft was getting an extra first-round pick in 2010 (by virtue of a trade with Carolina), when there will be three top quarterbacks and good first-round depth for defensive tackles. The 49ers were hoping cornerback Jairus Byrd was going to fall to them at No. 42. Once he was gone, the 49ers were considering taking center Max Unger. The 49ers have enough to get by on the offensive line. The value of the 2010 first-rounder could outweigh the addition of a good interior offensive lineman."

Setting aside that he meant 43, he implies that the Niners valued Byrd over a first-rounder next year.
Actually they valued a first rounder next year over Unger.

Whitner meant to say that he wants the team to draft a defensive player with skill who can be a team leader... because clearly he is not it!

I asked this in another post but got no response. What time does the draft start (or will the first pick be made)? (Buffalo time)
Need to make certain I get out of yard work and have all the necessary snack foods!

You've been reading this stuff for three years and it was Kirk Chambers that finally made you come out of hibernation. Shocking!
(Oh, and interesting point!)

I thought the slide started when Wade Philips refused to wear a headset.

For the NFL Draft, what time will the first pick be made? (buffalo time of course)
I thought it was early then just thought I heard 4:00

It is a commentary article. I am no journalism expert but isn't the article supposed to be kinda opinionated & personal. Grow a little thicker skin. The bills have not done sh*t this whole decade, & alot of the same clowns that started running the ship in the beginning of this decade are still here. What else is he supposed to say?
These guys get promoted for not making the playoffs, yet polian was let go for making the superbowl on numerous occasions. Interesting....

I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED CHRISS SIMMS AND HE WAS PLAYING WELL BEFORE HE GOT HURT. BRING HIM IN AND AND JUST MAYBE IF TRENT GOES DOWN HE CAN BRING US SOMETHING SPECIAL. ANY THOUGHTS OUT THERE?
Why are you yelling?

To be fair, there were a lot of Bills fans there, including myself, that wanted to cheer... and you could hear it at the beginning of the game, but the team didn't give us much to cheer for yesterday. A field goal and that's about it.

Our 4th rounder is going to replace our #1 CB this year? And pass at least two other players on the way?
Don't forget what round McGee was drafted in... history can repreat itself... but not in one year.
-
Oh come on. We are having a great draft. We just got our possible FB and a great ST player. This is not that bad of a pick.
I was just kidding around... had to with that last name... I still like this year's draft!

Is this a Bad Omon?

Jim: "I'll do anything to keep the Bills in Buffalo.... ANYTHING!"
-
Someone should pin the draft value chart for the morons who can't add.
Now that's a good idea!

This article in the SD Union and Tribune makes me laugh.
The idea that Smith is dealing from a position of power is downright arrogant. If Tennessee or Buffalo panics first then sure Smith wins. But if that doesn't happen, Smith will have to trade Turner for the best offer he gets, whether it's on draft day or before. This ain't ebay we're talking about here. It's the NFL.
I believe the writer is forgetting the draft provides plenty of options. It's not as though Turner is the only solution.
I also find it interesting that he thinks both Peterson and Lynch will both be gone by the time the Bills pick at #12. Unless there is a trade up by some other team, I'm curious to know who will pick Lynch in the top ten.
Got my authentic Ryan Miller USA hockey jersey in the mail today

I really don't like getting into all this national chest thumping, but lets be honest here... Canada has more Gold medals than the United States, or any other country for that matter, and that is the only medal that matters. I would rather have that, than be in first with a few extra silver and bronze!
As any poster on this Bills message board realizes, there are no points for second place.
