  1. Tim, Any chance the bills sign any more players before the draft? I'd love to see them add Keiaho and a veteran OL like Tauscher or Runyan). What do you think ? Thanks
  2. Wow. That is a terrible blast from the past. Hopefully they do better this year. I don't think it is possible to do worse.
  3. What would it take for you to consider it now?
  4. Exactly. Unless we trade up for one of the top 3, I don't think any of the other tackles in this draft would start for us this year at LT. Face it, unless we sign a free agent like Mark Tauscher, Langston Walker is the starting LT for the Bills this year. I think the tackles available at 28 or 42 will be roughly equal to (if not better than) Oher. Teams look for players who will make the biggest impact. They don't generally just pick guys to fill an immediate weakness. I don't want Oher unless it is at 28.
  5. I would not take an early round QB this year. I am not a big Trent fan yet, but I am still hopeful. If he flops this year, then we address a 1st rd QB next year in a QB rich draft class. We need to worry about putting a team around Trent, not replacing him.
  6. I'm with you. I would love Pettigrew at 11 and then LB at 28, but they could do just about anything. The only positions I would be shocked with in rd 1 or 2 are QB, RB, and DB (and obviously P and K). Other than that, who knows. I cannot wait for Saturday. I am wondering if they will make any additional free agent signing this week at LB or OT. There are also a lot of trade possibilties out there. What a fun week. Hopefully it does not end up being anticlimactic.
  7. Nice. Maybe atleast Jauron would show some emotion.
  8. I vote for both. I am getting a T.O. jersey and if we get Pettigrew I might get his too.
  9. I wish you were doing the drafting and Free agent signing for the Bills. Your draft and signing Keiaho and Tauscher would be awesome.
  10. LT is a need but I don't think Oher is the answer, especially not immediately. I would rather have an immediate starter like Pettigrew or Cushing.
  11. This mock was either done my a demented circus monkey or a drunken high school kid using a dart board to make the picks.
  12. I love Lynch as a player, but I cannot stand the fact that he barely speaks English. The guy has a Bachelors Degree and he can barely complete a sentence. Can you imagine him on a real job interview ? Leodis is worse. I cannot understand a word he says.
  13. Nice work. I would prefer Pettigrew at 11, but I could live with your draft.
  14. Peters just made the mess in Philly even worse. They finally moved Lito Sheppard then they brought in Andrews and Peters fo big money. Peters even had 2 years left on his deal. Now the other Andrews is pissed and so is Sheldon Brown. The best part was the official response from the Eagles. Some crap about Brown needing to play out the rest of his contract before getting a new one. So players that work hard for you have to live up to their contract, whiney, slackers that you trade for can get a hige new contract right away. Makes our Front office look like geniouses.
  15. Is this post supposed to be sarcastic and funny or are you really this much like Eeyore ? Holy cow.
  16. I hope not. We already have too many mediocre players. Lets taking advantage of having another crappy season by drafting a top player instead of 2 lesser talents.
  17. Can't say I'd be disappointed. He and Hangartner can fight it out to see which one starts at C and which one starts at LG. Either way, its a hige upgrade from the crap we had lined up there last year
  18. If he and his agent keep their mouths shut and he shows up and works hard, the Bills will give him a fair contract. They've proven time and again that this is how they do their business (Schobel, Evans, Parrish, Butler, Williams, etc). If he becomes a pain in the butt like Peters (no pun intended), they will let him play for his EFA contract tender this year and deal with him next year as an RFA. Buffalo is under absolutely no pressure to get anything done with Fred. Nothing personal. Its a business.
  19. so, Peters is worth 2 wins ? We were 7-9 with him and will be 5-11 without. Doesn't sound like he is worth $60m
  20. My understanding is that Ralph does not attend the draft in NYC. Ralph and the rest of the front office run the draft from RWS. Some underling is at the draft to run the picks up to the commish. Not sure if Ralph is well enough the be in Buffalo, but I would be pretty surprised if he were not present. Jerry Sullivan mentioned on the radio that he had spoken to Mary Wilson a few weeks ago and she said Ralph's shoulder was getting better and that otherwise, he was in excellent health.
  21. I think the Chargers really looked past the Bills that day. They were heading to London right after the Game in Buffalo. I think the Bills benefitted from the Chargers being distracted with preparations for the game across the pond.
  22. What a tragedy. So sad for the kids to lose their Mom so young. Thoughts and Prayers to the family.
  23. I wonder if the Bills willingness to trade Roscoe is affected by the new rules regarding Kick/Punt return blocking. The new rules change the way team can block on kick/punts. Maybe the Bills feel than Roscoe won't be as successful under the new rules ?
  24. That's funny. What did the guy say when you told him you were not Paul Peck ? I see the resemblance, but not enough to confuse the two of you.
  25. No, there were no urine cams. But there were a few great runs by Lynch and Jackson. It was a fun game to watch.
