You forgot these ifs: 1.) If Pettigrew is the highest rated player still on the Bills board 2.) If the Bills feel that they would like to finally have a quality tight end on the roster 3.) If they Bills are intested in drafting the player who will have the biggest and fastest impact on the team 4.) If the Bills think they can get OL and DL players later in the draft who are rated as highly as those currently available at 11. and Finally: 5.) IF any of us truly had a clue what the Bills were going to do, we probably would be working for the Bills and not posting on this board.

I don't think the Bills are going to with an OT at 11 unless one of the top 3 drop to them. I don't see any of the other OT's starting at LT this coming year. Maybe in a year or two, but not right away. This team needs immediate help. Thats why I see TE, OG and OLB as our first 3 picks. We can get 3 immediate starters. Then maybe take 2 OT's later on and hope one of them surprises.

I still think OLB is a bigger need than DE.

I like Smith alot better than Oher and would be happy if the Bills got him, but I would hate to give up picks this year. Not sure what the value chart says in terms of point value to move from 11 to 6. I would like it if we were able to make the move with players and picks from next year in addition to the 28. But if we do get Smith, I hope they put a rule in his contract that he must alway wear a shirt in public or get breast reduction.

Pettigrew is a far better blocker than Scheffler. Plus, Scheffler wants a big new contract. I like Pettigrew at 11 because I think the dropoff to the rest of the TE's is greater than the dropoff from the OT and DE's we get at 11 to the ones we can get later on. None of the Tackles or DE's are worthy of the 11th pick and I doubt any of them would start immediately. Pettigrew would be a difference maker in the run game and pass game from Day 1.

According to Peter King, teams are trying to trade up for 4 players: Pettigrew, Sanchez, Oher and Tyson Jackson. I think the Bills need to grab Pettigrew at 11 if they want him. Link

They signed the Best WR in the NFL, a new starting Center and a pretty good backup RB. They traded a Malcontent for an extra #1 pick. They haven't done as much as I would have liked them to so far. But free agency is not over yet. I expect more signings. I agree with some of your points and agree that Ralph has never done enough to win consistently, other than when Polian forced him to. But you don't need to insult the intelligence of your fellow fans. If you cannot be hopeful, why bother caring ?

Every teams' fans will hear the same thing. Whats your point? Do you want Russ to come out to the podium and say that the draft sucked and he has no clue what the hell he is doing?

I would prefer Henderson. The trade cost would be less, plus he has a great relationship with Stroud. Those two hogs could dominate the line for the Bills for several years. That said, I would love to see Dorsey in a Bills uniform.

Maybin is small enough to play safety. I pray the Bills don't take him, even at 28.

Can we stop with the "well, he was cut by XYZ so he must be washed up"? Good players get cut all the time. Just because a guy is not currently on a team, doesn't mean he is garbage. Not saying to sign him for top dollar. But, its worth a visit and a discussion. When healthy, he's as good or better than any tackle on our roster or currently available.

Not a fan of this draft at all. Maybin scares me. I think he's too small for DE I don't know anything about Beatty and then he has us draft a TE in Rd2 and another in RD3. Then a Wr in Rd4. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
