He had top 5 talent 5 years ago and he still sucked. Bring him in to talk with Lynch and show him the road is going down. Then cut him and tell Lynch that he's next if he screws up again.

Didn't this guy suck when he played ? Yes, he was a former #1 pick. But he had 29 tackles and 1.5 sacks in 28 starts. He is hardly an upgrade. I'm fine if they give him a shot, but expectation levels should be very low for a guy who sucked when he has played 3 years ago.

If Buffalo could bring him in on a one year incentive-laden deal, they would be stupid not to. If healthy, he would be an immediate update at LT. If not, then they really didn't lose anything. Signing him to a multiyear deal or including much guaranteed money would be stupid. He would be a nice addition, but its not like he puts us in the Superbowl.

I agree, If we could somehow get Henderson, Hill (or Keiaho) and a decent FA Tackle (Jones, Tauscher, Runyan, etc) this team will be competitive for playoffs.

On the first play, they will blitz past our crappy OTs and sack Trent, knocking into next week. One the second play, Ryan Fitzpatrick will be behind center. Enough said. I joke, but our O-line is a big question mark. I think the middle of the line will be better than last year, but we will have to keep our fingers crossed that our Tackles can hold up. It is exciting to have this many weapons, but our line is questionable and Trent needs to step up and be the man the many fans think he can be.

I am hopeful that Parrish stays on the Bills. The problem for him and the Bills is that they generally only keep 6 WRs. Owens Evans Reed Hardy Steve Johnson I think those 5 guys are locks. The last spot is usually kept for a special teams gunner like Justin Jenkins. A bigger wideout who gets downfield and makes tackles on ST. Parrish obviously is not that guy. My hope is that Johnson can fill that role or one of the extra DBs or LBs so that we can keep a premier Returner who will probably only see VERY limited action at WR.

Sounded like Butler will be in the Mix to start at one of the tackle spots.

I love the pick. It addresses another area of need and was a good value. We had a 2nd round grade and we got him in the fourth. I would have preferred Pettigrew because he's a better blocker but I like Nelson. I am very happy with out draft Still hoping we can trade for Henderson and sign Keiaho. Next 2 picks should be OT prospects.

I really wanted the Bills to get Pettigrew. The first round was falling perfectly for us. It got to pick 20 and I started thinking that there really wasn't anyone else looking at Pettigrew, so I thought he might just fall into our laps at 28. Then the Commish announced that Detroit picked him. I let out several expletives and went to the fridge for more beer. I HATE THE DAMN DETROIT LIONS.
