  1. Just an FYI - there is a a Duffs located about 5 minutes from Ralph Wilson stadium. He good local wing joint. Like other posters have said, you could show up with nothing and as long as you are friendly, you could get invited to join in on severeal tailgates
  2. I find it ironic that you criticize my " idiotic pseudo-macho BS" by calling me names. Who is the pseudo-macho one here ? It also seems that reading comprehension is a problem for you. I never said Edwards was not tough. I said that he needs to stop taking the safe pass all the time. I don't even care if he throws bombs downfield. I would just like to see him try to throw the ball past the first down marker or into the end zone. Is it possible that Trent saw how JP got yanked around by this organization and he is so afraid to make a mistake for fear of having the same thing happen to him ? I think Trent has the tools to be a really good QB, I just would like to see him take a few more chances. I like that he completes a lot of passes, but if they are not making first downs and scoring TDs they aren't much good. What I mean is, a 2yd dump off on 3rd and 9 is just as bad as an incomplete pass attempt on a 10yd pass. As another poster said, I want to see Trent show up with some fire. Some refuse to lose attitude and a desire to make things happen, not just do the safe thing to protect his own ass but not help the Bills win.
  3. I think you are overreacting a bit. I really don't mind most of the celebrations, even the rehearsed ones. I love the stuff OCHO CINCO does. I like to be entertained. I like to see guys passionate about the game and having fun. I have no problem with his reaction. I would like it if more of these millionaires could complete a sentence in clear, intelligible english and could keep themselves from getting arrested and making asses of themselves and their teams off the field.
  4. I love that the Raiders are such a joke. My buddy is a huge Raider fan and was giving me crap about T.O. being a cancer and about Lynch, Whitner and Ko. This makes up for all of it. Cable may actually face jailtime. Apparently, it is automatically felony assault if the victim winds up with a broken jaw. This whole story has made my day.
  5. Maybe he should start wearing a different Cup so he stops throwing like such a Puss. I am sick of 2yd passes on 3rd and 9 and hate that he refuses to even try to score TDs by passing to the end zone. Yes, he's accurate. Yes, he has a quick release. Yes, he has poise. Yes, he is smart. Hopefully he will eventually grow a set of balls. I cannot sit through another season of Trent Specials (aka FGs).
  6. I can't see Skoob going incognito. He likes the attention too much to hide.
  7. In all honesty, Skooby is one of my favorite posters on this board. He can be arrogant and his "sources" suck but his posts are generally entertaining.
  8. Another knowledgeable football fan. Good lord. Watch the games before posting and making an ass of yourself.
  9. Still too many checkdowns from Trent and the run blocking was not good. It was a pretty entertaining game for preseason, but I would not say the offense looked great. I also hate the passiveness of our offense. Trent had the ball in the redzone and never even tried to throw toward the endzone. I am starting to think Lindell is giving Trent some money for every field goal try he gets.
  10. Ted Cotrell sounded like an idiot and he made Bruce sound like an ass telling the story about how Bruce refused to run the plays that were called.
  11. The second I read the original post.
  12. I wonder if cutting Digiorgio means they might be bringing in another FA linebacker, or if there is nothing more to it than the fact that he could not pass the physical. Seems like they would have thrown him in PUP if they intended to keep him.
  13. I think it would be great if the NFL had some sort of "training camp" where teams worked out a bunch of times to find the best players at each position before the season starts.
  14. I think its a good move for him. It gives him a chance to learn from Jim Fassel and resurrect a once promising career. It makes more sense to go there and start than to sit on the bench all year waiting for an injury. I wish him the best.
  15. Can't we just enjoy the upcoming season before worrying and arguing about what's going to happen in 2010 ? Why is it that so many people need to predict doom so badly that they will look almost 2 years into the future to find it ?
  16. Most able bodied men over 18 can throw a ball 50 yards (or close to it). Big deal. An NFL QB needs to not only throw it that far, but get it there accurately, on time and with velocity. I just saw this play on the news. That throw sucked. It wobbled and floated. It was not a bullet or spiral. In a game, it probably would have been easily defended or picked. Yes, TO is a freak. No, Trent does not have a strong arm. I am not a big Trent backer. But I am hopeful he can develop into a very good NFL QB. He will never have a rifle arm so stop trying to say he does or make excuses for why he doesn't. Not all good QBs have great arms. Trent will be fine if he makes good decisions, finds the open receiver and takes his shots downfield when they are there. He has plenty of weapons. He just has to keep them all happy. He is not likely to become a gunslinger, throwing it all over the field and I am fine with that. I want wins not highlight reel plays.
  17. Really wisht the Bills had landed Pisa. I think he would have been a good fit for Buffalo.
  18. Wasn't Rock Hudson married to a Supermodel/Actress ?
  19. Thats a load of crap. If they listened to Manning, they would not have new coaches. They would have kept the old ones. The NFL is full of guys who run their mouths and I don't have a problem with it. When you cross the line and your play does not outweigh the headache you cause, you get cut. Thats like in the NFL. I just think it is hypocritical that T.O. is somehow held to a different standard.
  20. Really? Like what? Peyton is a spoiled prick. He is more of a prima donna than T.O. T.O. got to be the scapegoat on some good teams that underperformed. Romo, Witten and Garrett were more of a locker room cancer than Terrell. They ran around planning behind his back like a pack of 4th grade girls. What other bad things did T.O. do: He said he would rather play with Favre than Mcnabb. He is 100% correct. Mcnabb sucks. He made the gay comments about Garcia. Admit it, you think he is gay too. I don't care if he is, but I think he is. Anyway, didn't he make those comments after leaving SF ? Anyway, the point is that people are hypocrites. We want outspoken athlete who don't just spew the company line. But when we find one, people crucify him and call him a cancer. T.O.'s rants are no worse than Manning trashing his new coaches. Maybe its a race thing ?
  21. So, its OK for Manning to run his mouth about the coaches, but if T.O. said the same thing it would be a national catastrophe?
  22. That picture struck me funny. He looks very uncomfortable: Like: "Oh crap, theres a camera" as if he was uncomfortable being caught in a Bears shirt.
  23. Fingers crossed for a signing announcement later today. He would be a very good addition.
  24. In my opinion, the biggest weakness right now is the coaching staff. They cost us 2-3 victories per year over the last 3 yrs.
  25. Are you really this stupid ? Our impotence in Free agency ? Owens, Hangartner, Rhodes. The Bills have been active. I would not have minded if we got Taylor, but he is not a difference maker any longer. You can't criticize the Bills for not signing him, especially since he wanted to sign with Miami or NE and would have never signed here.
