Wow. I wish we had a team where we could have expectations higher than this. We get embarassed 51-14 and you consider it a huge success because we got 2 TDs. I wish we had a relevant NFL team and an owner who actually tried to compete.

THAT WOULD BE AWESOME

sounds like the punchline to a Michael Jackson joke.

Why do people get so worked up over some dillweed sports writer trying to predict the future. It is one guy's opinion and it is usually based on very minimal facts. Who the hell cares what this guy predicts ? That said, I would much rather have the Bills go 2-14 than 6-10 this year. Anything close to .500 and Ralph has an excuse to keep status quo. Unless DJ can pull off a miracle and make the playoffs, I want him out. If the Bills win 6 games, DJ stays and we suck again next year and the year after.

You guys want to talk about bad predictions

We have good players at those positions, but the OL is a work in progress and will struggle to protect Trent and open holes for the run game. Trent is a work in progress too. He showed promise but has clearly regresses (or atleast not progressed). add that to a brand new OC and a terrible HC and there is plenty of room for skepticism. I've said in a few other posts. I just don't see the Bills winning more than 6 games this year. Hopefully I am wrong (I usuallly am). -
Bob DiCesare---Bills win between 0-4 games this year
Maddog69 replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I keep looking at our schedule and I cannot come up with more than 6-7 wins at the absolute best. (I think 4-12 or 5-11 is most likely) I would love to be optimistic. But I cannot. Its more about the management of the team than the roster. I think we have some youngs guys on the Oline who will be good in a few years, but I don't think they are ready to get it done this year and I really feel like Trent is going to get seriously injured by mid-season. And even if Trent stays healthy, I still have serious doubts as to whether he is the QB to lead this team back to the playoffs some day. But, as of right now, everyone in the NFL is 0-0 and they all have a chance. So, LETS GO BILLS. -
Has anyone picked up Walker
Maddog69 replied to Mike in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe the Bills will bring him back for depth after week 1 -
I would suggest that Trent's "peers" make far less than he does. He sucks. He is not "peers" with Brady, Manning (either of them), Big Ben, Rivers, etc. Trent needs to improve 2000% before I would consider him for an extension.

But my ultimate goal is for Jauron to go and hopefully we get lucky that the next bargain basement yes-man ralph hires. So for me (and for the future of the Bills) a win would be bad. It would give the FO the delusional belief that they know what they are doing.

No one else wanted LW either
Maddog69 replied to bills_fan_in_raleigh's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The teams we called to ask if they wanted to trade for him knew we would cut him. The average fan like you and I did not get a call from Russ about possibly trading Walker. Other GMs did and they knew Ralph would not pay LW's salary. -

Teams would not give us anything because they knew we'd cut him and they could sign him to a better contract not because noone thinks he can play football, genious. -
You should not waste your hopes on something so unlikely. Atleast the OP is hoping for something that is likely to happen.

NE* does not need to embarass us. Ralphie and the inner circle are doing that already

Langston Walker released/Kirk Chambers re-signed

Ralph is a joke. All of the moves the Bills make are about selling jerseys (T.O) or saving money (keep Jauron, cutting Rhodes/Walker). Those player cuts were all about saving money. There is noone on the O line as good as Walker. He was not suited for LT, but he is by far the best RT on the roster. Rhodes is way better than Omon. Cutting those guys saves Ralph money. He does not care about fielding a competitive team. He needs to go. The Bills are now the laughing stock of the NFL. Al Davis is laughing at Ralph. Atleast Al tries to win. Ralph treats the Bills like a 401k. He just wants to maximize the value for his family upon his death. He is not even pretending to care about football anymore, regardless of the crap he said in his HOF speech about loving the competitiveness. Maybe he did when he was younger. Clearly not any more. I am a season ticket holder and will continue to be becasue I love this team and long for a time when we have a real owner to bring this team some real glory. -
Well you guys wanted change.....

I think the Las Vegas Locos, or whatever their name is, will have more wins than the Bills this year. -
All of the Trentites on this board should be thrilled will all of the chaos at One Bills Drive. Every day the Bills provide another built in excuse for Trentative's suckiness.

Ralph is now in control of the team
Maddog69 replied to Chuckknox's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really wish they would just blow it up right now. Get rid of Jauron. Bring in the New HC and give him this year to tinker with what we have to see what changes need to be made. This year is basically being wasted right now. -

The Bills will suck ? Trent will be injured by the Bye week ? TO's head will explode from trying to stay on his best behavior. Actually. The more I think about it. This really seems like an episode of Punk'd. The Bills just keep making ridiculous move after ridiculous move until T.O. just snaps. Then Ashton Kutcher runs out and tells him he's been Punk'd -
I decided to start watching to top Qb prospects for next years draft. I am watching the Ole Miss/Memphis game and have this conclusion - Jevan Snead sucks. He cannot throw on the run. He has no touch and has thrown 2 picks in the first half because he gets pressured and just throws the ball up for grabs. NO THANKS. I hope Bradford did not seriously injure his shoulder. So far, he's the guy I want the Bills to draft. I know that some people on this board are enamored with Tebow, but I am not sold. He seems like a lesser version of Mike Vick (hopefully without the dog murdering and VD spreading).

My brain tells me we get crushed because NE* is far superior in overall talent and coaching. I am just hopeful that we get a few breaks and get some turnovers like we did in the Dallas MNF game. On paper, it looks like a blowout. But the games are not played on paper. Let's keep our fingers crossed for an upset. That would be an awesome way to start the season.
-
Yeah, but unfortunately we will be trailing by three with the ball on the Pats* 30 when we kneel it down and run the clock out

Ralph held a coaches meeting at his house
Maddog69 replied to Fingon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ok, lets for a minute assume that DJ was telling the truth when he said it was 100% his idea and his call to fire Schonert. This meeting could indicate that Ralph was not 100% on board with Jauron's plan to have AVP call the plays with input from Studesville. It's possible that Ralph wanted to sit down with the coaches to get a better feel for whether or not AVP could do the job or if he would force DJ to go an experienced OC. Think of this meeting as a job interview for Alex. My guess is that if the offense struggles over the first few games, Ralph will make DJ hire an experienced OC (someone who could replace DJ when he is fired midseason). -
I want Jimbo to join the Bills in one capacity and it is not OC, HC, GM or QB Coach - IT IS OWNER (or managing partner of the ownership group. Nothing is going to change until new ownership is in control.
