  1. What point are you trying to make with Seymour? As far as I know, he signed a long term deal to stay with the Raiders.
  2. I agree. Who would want a future HOF QB who has led his team to the playoffs in 8 or his 12 seasons and led them to 4 NFC championship games? It would be a terrible mistake to add a player like this to a floundering joke of a franchise.
  3. If the Bills tried to trade Trent, not one team in the league would give them a pick, let alone a decent veteran backup QB.
  4. what about Keith Bullock at OLB?
  5. Nice. I have a Rob Johnson jersey rotting in my closet myself. So, I'm with you. I just can't get there with Trent. He is just to wimpy. I want a QB to go out and make some plays and take some chances. I hated listening to him say how he took what the defense gave him and that teams took away T.O. and Trent. He just isn't a real NFL QB in my opinion. I cannot bear to watch him play anymore.
  6. I will get excited about them when their actual play on the field gives me reason to. They still have most of the same players from last year, with 2 added players who are solid but not spectacular. They have more holes to fill and questions to answer. They have to learn a completely new defense and translate that to play on the field. It is way to early to get excited about them.
  7. Too late. He signed with AZ today. Got a nice payday too.
  8. Are you actually Trent or maybe the president of his fan club? You are one of a quickly decreasing number of devout Trent backers. I never saw the greatness in him that many of you did and I am ready to be done with him.
  9. They are not done. I expect several more signing, player cuts and possible trades before and after the draft.
  10. Hasselbeck's worst statistical season last year was far better than anything we could ever dream to get out of Trent. Hasselbeck might be washed up. But Trent is a "Never was and never going to be".
  11. He's in the last year of a contract at $5.75m. Not a very costly gamble. They wasted $6m on T.O. last year. If he comes in and retruns to form, its a win-win. We won't be stuck with a longterm deal if he sucks and he can mentor Brohm and whomever we draft. I love his attitude. I think it would be a great move.
  12. Better than anyone on the roster. Good veteran stopgap for a yr or 2. I'd be fine with it if the price were right (7th round pick or Trent Edwards straight up)
  13. So what you are saying is, Our first pick will be defense unless it is offense. I agree 100%, unless we draft a kicker.
  14. I apologize again. That must be what I heard. I am sorry. Wishful thinking I guess.
  15. Thanks Lori. Sorry for the confusion. Did he mention another name? It was right at the end of the broadcast. He said somebody was coming in on Tuesday and I thought it was Porter.
  16. I agree 100%. Anybody posting some BS rumor should be banned. I did not make this up and was looking for clarification because I cannot find it anywhere on the internet. I actually tried to email Ed Kilgore but cannot find an email address. I figured somebody on here would have seen it somewhere or would have atleast heard it too.
  17. He had 17.5 sacks in 2008 and 9 sacks in 12 games last year. I think he can still pass rush a little bit.
  18. Did anyone else see the Channel 2 News last night ? Ed Kilgore mmentioned right at the end of the broadcast that Joey Porter will be visiting the Bills on Tuesday. I don't have a link and cannot find it anywhere else. Did anyone else see this posted anywhere? He seems like a good fit at a position of need. His Position coach from last year is our DC. He is familiar with the division and he makes plays. He does have a bit of a crazy streak and he clearly would prefer to play out west, but if the Bills could sign him it would drastically improve the team.
  19. Spiller is a luxury pick the Bills cannot afford to make. If he is so good, teams will be offering us a King's ransom for that pick so they can get him.
  20. Pretty unimpressive effort. I am the new owner. Get the hell out of my office. You're Fired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. WOW. I don't even know what to say. Atleast he did not try to excuse his behavior like Vick did. That's a tough situation. I guess it would all depend on the personal intereviews with the kid. I suppose everyone deserves a second chance, but his own sister. YUCK. Maybe he grew up in Kentucky, I here that is perfectly acceptable there.
  22. Well, if the 4 guys you mention are off the board and I assume Bradford and Suh and Mccoy are gone too, but Cluasen is available, I expect the Bills to grab him pretty quickly. However, I don't expect him to be there. In which case, I think we go with the DE from Ga Tech or we trade down.
  23. And Washington at 4
  24. Moorman was our MVP, wasn't he ? They should have had a picture of Dick Jauron walking out of the building with a box of his personal belongings.
  25. LOL. I understand your point and I personally think that 9 is too high for Tebow or McCoy. But nobody knows exactly where they will be picked. We need a franchise QB. If the FO thinks one of these guys is it, I would be happy with taking them at 9. I remember some GM being asked about reaching for a player higher than he was rated and the GM said something like "Well, we had him rated at 15, but we didn't have the 15th pick and the team at 15 would not give it to us, so we picked him with our pick."
