  1. A sweetheart deal is not unlikely. Those morons were going to give Bass Pro something like $60m to open a store (which would also have been fully paid for by public money) on the waterfront. The City, County and State will bend over backwards to get a long term agreement to keep the Bills in WNY.
  2. anything to detract attention from his crappy play
  3. I'd be fine with just about any other QB starting for us. I just can't watch Trent anymore.
  4. Well atleast it doesn't happen much so you are not stunned often.
  5. I would be fine with this
  6. None of the QBs on our roster are NFL starting caliber. Nix/Gailey/Wilson/Modrak/Russ screwed up by not going out and getting a true starter. There were guys available who would have solidified the position. This is going to prove to be a huge mistake.
  7. you want positives I will give you positives. I am positive that we have the worst starting QB in the entire NFL. I am positive the Bills are terrible in all phases of the ball I am positive they will not win more than 3-4 games this year. I am positive some a-hole is going to reply that I am not a true Bills fan.
  8. We could not beat them when Tom Brady was out for the season, what makes you think we will be them when a D-lineman goes down? They've beaten us with only 1 defensive lineman on the field in the past. This really doesn't make me feel any better about the BIlls chances against that Pats*.
  9. I like your assessment, BUT I'm still skeptical.
  10. Depends on who the buyer would be. If it's Jim Kelly's group, the chances of the Bills staying would increase. If the Toronto group or the guy looking to move a team to LA were the buyer, then obviously the chances of the Bills leaving would increase. Just like the questions QB situation, only time will tell how the ownership situation shakes out and whether or not the Bills stay in WNY.
  11. Miami 1:00 W (season opener against the fins. I have to count this one as a W) @ Green Bay 1:00 L @ New England 1:00 L NY Jets 1:00 L Jacksonville 1:00W Bye @ Baltimore 1:00 L @ Kansas City 1:00 W Chicago 1:00 L Detroit 1:00 W @ Cincinnati 1:00 L Pittsburgh 1:00 L @ Minnesota 1:00 L Cleveland 1:00 W @ Miami 1:00 L New England 1:00 L @ NY Jets L This seems to me to be best case scenario. 5-11 maybe 6-10. More likely 4-12.
  12. I don't know why, but I just have a gut feeling that Spiller is going to hold out for a while. I am probably 100% wrong on this (I usually am), but I just get the feeling that Spiller is going to want top dollar like Crabtree did last year. I started to get worred when he was already talking **** last week about not rusing into a deal.
  13. Extremely well said. Thanks Coach.
  14. I agree completely. I look at the schedule and cannot pick more that 3-4 wins. I hope they prove me wrong this year, I just don't see them being able to win too many.
  15. I agree. I cannot stand Trent. I wish he was better. But he isn't and unless he comes out this year and plays completely differently than he has so far in his career, I will have a very difficult time watching. But I'll be at every home game praying he grows a pair.
  16. Not really. Louisville is named for the bird. Stanford is for the color. SJF is named for he Bird. So, either Nelson gave away that fact that it is Brohm. Or he was trying to be clever without realizing that Stanfard and Louisville were not both names the "Cardinals" after the bird. Either way, as someone else point out. David Nelson should STFU and learn his playbook.
  17. Stanfiord Cardinal - Trent. I realize that the Stanford "Cardinal" refers to the color red. But I am guessing that David Nelson is not that bright.
  18. I think I am more interested in Chan's explaination of the pecking order than the pecking order itself. I am wondering if he will list strengths/weaklnesses of each guy or just tell what he likes about QB1 and leave it at that.
  19. There are hundreds of threads on this board, if you don't like this one, find a different one.
  20. Seems quite high, especiially if that is not total TD's (includes KR/PR) Desean Jackson was amazing last year and he ended up with 9 offensive TD's. I would obviously be thrilled with CJ getting to the house 10 times, but I would not count on it.
  21. He wants to play. He just does not want to play here and he simply does not want to come right out and demand a trade, because he does not want to seem like a jerk to the fans and team who have supported him. It seems to me that he is trying to do the right thing. He wants to play closer to his home but he does not want to demand a trade publicly. The Bills should (and may already have been) be looking to see if Houston, Dallas or TN has interest in trading for him. It is unlikely, but it is worth a chance. Otherwise, just release him and let him get on with his life. He really isn't in the longterm plans for the team anyway. Just move on.
