  1. Its probably more like the Pegula's actually have cash on hand to spend and Ralph did not. I believe Ralph bought the team in 1960 for $100,000. Most of his wealth was tied up in the value of the team, and couldn't compete with the other owners. Pegula is now one of the richest owners in the league and the up front money he is able to put out there in contracts is hard for other owners to rival....its nice to be on the top of the pyramid for once!!
  2. Visual representation of the Bills offseason: I'm so glad the Bills have an owner who can afford it!!
  3. He seems like a “guy who is good at football” instead of a “football player”. There is a sharp difference in attitude and motivation between the former and the latter, IMO.
  4. CB from Cincinnati......played opposite Sauce Gardner....think he would be a good pick for Buffalo in round 2 or 3. Nick Cross S Round 4 Cole Turner TE Round 5
  5. I'd definitely be down with that trade! As for trading up with next years first....if the Bills do that, there would be a high chance that the Bills would trade Diggs for a first next offseason to get that first rounder back....especially if they trade up for Jameson Williams.
  6. Its gotta be somewhere....I’d be interested to see that as well.
  7. I’ve been waiting for them to pick YACHT....that would probably be a tough one for anyone to figure out in less than 6.
  8. If you are talking about Sunday’s word, believe it or not, I got it in 3(thanks to my two starting words). As for today’s, it was an easier word than Sunday, yet it took me 6 tries....go figure!
  9. I made this joke in the Tua thread last week, and I think it applies here: I’d like to welcome Marquez Stevenson’s Mom to the board!
  10. they moved up twice to get Josh Allen, then they moved up once to get Edmunds.....forgot that little detail when I posted my response.
  11. If they do trade Edmunds to move up, it might actually be for his replacement. IMO, that would be Devin Lloyd LB Utah. A beast of a LB, and definitely a McBeane type of player.
  12. Wait a minute....you read my post and thought I said I only gotten it right once instead of I only gotten it wrong once?? How dumb do you think I am??😝😁😝
  13. Fooled me for a second, until I saw the start date and realized it was a "Zombie Thread".
  14. I've only been playing for about a month, and I've only not gotten it once....SLOSH, about a week ago. I got today's in three(I won't say what it is...no spoilers!)But my two starting words really made it easy to get in three!
  15. I wouldn't pay him.....he's one knee injury away from having to be a pass first QB, which he will never be. I'm glad its Baltimore who will be saddled with a ridiculous contract for a QB who is average at best in the passing game.
  16. I start with: LIONS and TAMER You get vowels A E I and O plus consonants L N S T M and R. Anyone have anything better that that?
  17. 25. Trent McDuffie CB Washington 57. John Metchie III WR Alabama 89. Rachaad White RB Arizona St. 130. Nick Cross S Maryland 168. Mychael Wright CB Oregon
  18. I was leaning more towards Cross, because he does have the size and athleticism you need to play the position in the NFL....the Bills have met with him, so he is a name to watch for sure.
  19. In one corner we have an undersized, short-armed safety with average speed. In the other corner we have game tape highlighting McKinley's instincts, short-area quickness, aggressive demeanor and nose for making plays on the football. He's going to give way to some of the bigger bodies he'll encounter in the NFL, but he's a natural football player with an above-average feel for timing and angles. The traits could impact his draft slotting, but McKinley has the talent to make plays as a nickel safety. Nick Cross S Maryland Cross operated as the bouncer of the Maryland defense, playing with the aggression and explosiveness to throw opponents out of the club. He is a chase player who seeks to make a statement upon impact and has impressive stopping power near the line or as an open-field tackler. He's a tight-hipped, linear mover, so flipping and flying are not his strong suit. He's capable of matching with most flavors of tight end and will be most comfortable in coverages that allow him to play with a downhill trigger. He has the temperament, size and toughness to become an eventual starter in the league. With the safeties the Bills have now, it would allow these guys a year or two to develop, and be an eventual replacement for Hyde or Poyer. I'm pretty sure the Bills have met with Cross, so don't be surprised if the Bills draft a safety in the mid rounds. What do you think??
  20. I’d like to welcome Tua’s Mom to the board!
  21. You could probably get Billy Wagner on the cheap, but Bobby Wagner...thats gonna cost you a little more....
