  1. If only the injury report could stay this clean all year!
  2. I’m sure Elam will get a chance at some point during the season.....even though I disagree with drafting him, I still hope he pans out, and figures it out....I don’t want any Bills draft pick to be a bust.
  3. Bummer the Bills drafted Elam when there were so many other quality players at positions of need. Benford panning out from the 6th round is helpful to the Bills, but it makes it all the more harder to take that the Bills drafted Elam instead of players like Devin Lloyd or Breece Hall with that 1st round pick. As for Torrence, really excited for him....a great pick in the 2nd round by Beane as I see him as a starter on this O-line for the next decade.👍
  4. Brian Kelly is the most overrated coach in College Football......that is all. Never liked him at Notre Dame...glad they let him go.
  5. If true, then what is the point of getting the streaming app?? I just hope these two idiot corporations can figure this out as quickly as possible...I’m not worried about the Bills game, as I still have ABC, but I hate the idea of missing college football, PTI, etc.
  6. OK, so what’s the verdict here?? If I pay for the espn+ streaming service, will I be able to see live sports like college football and shows like NFL live and PTI, or not??
  7. Can you get the Disney+/ESPN streaming service and watch ESPN that way?
  8. I wish the Bills could have done this in that draft instead of drafting Elam:
  9. Meanwhile, Devin Lloyd, the player the Bills should have drafted in the first found instead of Elam, is starting at MLB for the Jags and is primed to have a breakout season....oops.
  10. I bet Gabe Davis wishes the Bills re-signed Edmunds so he could have remained the fans puncing bag scapegoat player instead of having that title transferred over to him. IMO, Davis doesn't deserve the amount of disdain some fans on here give him.
  11. If a team is willing to get rid of a guy that they traded three first round picks for, what does that tell you about his abilities?
  12. Who's on first, What's on second, I don't know is on third.
  13. If Dawkins can get his act together before week 1, the OL will not be as bad as you think, with the understanding that Spencer Brown will be the weak link, especially in pass protection.
  14. Ahhhh, now I see what your deal is...you think I am trying to look like the smartest person in the room, when in fact it is you that is trying to look like the smartest person in the room by "correcting" my opinion. Let me assure you, I do not in any way think I am smarter than Beane.....in fact, I agree with about 95% of what he has done. This just happens to be one of the 5%. I was all for taking a CB in the first round of that draft, Trent McDuffie to be specific, but once the top talent CB's were off the board, I think Beane should have switched focus off of CB and towards a player like Devin Lloyd or even Breece Hall. Instead, I believe he panicked a little and ended up reaching for a CB that does not fit the defensive system the Bills run. Maybe Beane was under the impression that Edmunds would re-sign with the Bills, and therefore didn't want to use a 1st round pick on a MLB at that point....only he would know that, but if he felt Edmunds was leaving after the season....having a solid prospect to take over for Edmunds at MLB was way more important than taking a player who was not a scheme fit to fill the CB2 role. If you can't see that, fine.....but don't crap on me just because you don't agree with my opinion.
  15. You still on the Dodson/Elam train?? You might want to get off before that train crashes.
  16. Bills should have drafted Devin Lloyd last year instead of Kair Elam in last years draft......Elam still has done nothing to lock down CB2, and the players the Bills have at MLB right now just aren't cutting it. Defensive Talent Devin Lloyd Makes Impact in Intense Jaguars-Lions Joint Practice Aug 16, 2023 at 07:18 PM John Oehser Jaguars Senior Writer ALLEN PARK, Mich. – Devin Lloyd feels good these days, and why not? The second-year linebacker through three weeks of Jaguars 2023 Training Camp increasingly is playing more like a second-year player – which means playing with more confidence, more speed, more awareness and more ease. That also has meant more plays, which was the case again on Wednesday on Day 16 of '23 camp. "It's so much more fun," Lloyd said. Lloyd, the No. 27 overall selection in the 2022 NFL Draft and a starting inside linebacker next to Foye Oluokun in the Jaguars' 3-4 defense, was among the standouts Wednesday in the first of two consecutive days of joint practices against the Detroit Lions. He not only had an early one-handed interception, he had a near interception late in practice and a would-be sack on a pass rush. Jaguars veteran outside linebacker Josh Allen said days such as Wednesday are unsurprising, and said he expects Lloyd to be an All-Pro Player "within the next year." "I thought last year he was a hell of a linebacker for us," Allen said. "He went through his little rookie flows or whatever, but I think now he's starting to put it all together."
  17. By the end of the year, he will definitely be someone opposing defenses will have to gameplan around. If all goes well, he will be in the hunt for OROY for sure.
  18. Yeah, definitely think he will take that leap this year. I think that having a plan for the MLB spot squared away with Lloyd would have been better than reaching for a player for the CB2 position with Elam. What’s done is done, so I hope Elam pans out and the Bills find a way to power through the season with what they have at MLB.
  19. Were you watching last season?? Elam had a hard time cracking the lineup battling these exact players you are describing. It got so bad that at one point they had to bring in the bloated corpse of Xavier Rhodes for competition. Not to mention the fact that Elam still has no locked down a spot in the starting lineup battling these exact same players you described while having a year plus an offseason to get ready. Agree to disagree, but my scenario still would have been the better option. Well, he would have had a year to develop here, so time will tell if he becomes a better player this year....I think he will.
  20. I diagree....everybody knew Edmunds was leaving at the end of the year with no plan to replace him...this would have been the plan. Plus, Edmunds and Milano missed time with injury last year, and Lloyd would have gotten playing time filling in for each of them when they were out.
  21. Bills have had a track record of finding late round corners that can play in the NFL.....Dane Jackson, Taron Johnson, Benford on the Bills.....Kevon Seymour and Rachad Wildgoose on other NFL teams. I'm sorry I don't have draft boards from two drafts ago available to me right now, but if I did, I'm sure I could name a player or two that would fit the bill for what the Bills look for in a CB. Plus, I never suggested taking a corner in the second....I clearly stated that would cost us Cook. I would take Lloyd as the Bills starting MLB plus a third round CB that McBeane selected over Elam and Bernard ten times out of ten, period.
