I don't know, I remember many a game where the Offense didn't even get across the 50 yard line until midway through the 3rd quarter, and the Defense played what I called the "End Zone Defense"....... the only thing stopping the other teams Offense was the End Zone!!

Thankfully, the Bills had to play 2nd and 3rd stringers to look that bad.....in the drought-era that would be how the 1st stringers would've looked!! After the 6+ years of success the Bills have enjoyed, I had almost forgot what a bad Bills team looked like. That game was a not so subtle reminder of how good we Bills fans have it right now!! It reminded me to enjoy the ride, and not ever take for granted how good it is to have a top-tier team to root for!! Go Bills!!!!!

I think what the OP is trying to say is that Allen was responsible for making him look elite, as his numbers with Allen are much better than without. IMO, the Offense actually got better last year without Diggs, and Allen had an MVP season.....I think the case can be made for this theory.

I must admit that I thought Elijah Moore was a lock to make the roster when he was signed...now I am not so sure. Granted we have not seen him on the field with Josh Allen in a game, but I haven't seen anything from him in camp or in the games. I really thought he was going to make the most of this opportunity, but if Samuel is healthy, he has a legitimate chance of losing the final receiver spot to Shavers. Thoughts??

Shocking that when you don't play the top 25-30 players on your roster, including the league MVP, that the team looked like 💩!! At least some of the rookies flashed on a few plays, but other than that a truly uninspiring performance. Here's where I would put the tape from the game:

I thought I saw a report that said he won't play......so I voted not at all. I wouldn't mind seeing him for a series, but I get it if the coaching staff wants to hold him out.

I agree....Torrence isn't going anywhere. He and McGovern will get extended, but Edwards will probably be the odd man out.....luckily for the Bills, they have a lot of young O-line talent waiting in the wings if contracts can't be worked out.

I'm sure the train whistle is cool if you are in the stadium, and it hopefully messes with the other team when they play it, but when watching the game on TV, its just plain useless and annoying.

Top two objectives of preseason games: 1. Make it through without any major injuries..........check 2. Get the rookies and young players plenty of reps so they can make some good plays, and yes some rookie mistakes, in a game that is meaningless........check.
