I've listened and liked Howard Simon forever and a day now...But I have to admit only watching a Half of Bills Football, Pre Season or not, is a bit ridiculous considering his Job...IMHO it's WAY too much Hockey talk period on WGR...But I do understand them being the Sabres partners and all... Anyway I pretty much agree with you...They can definitely do better...

Cause Freshmen QB's always excel in the Big 10 right? Actually Mallett was not that bad considering he was thrown into the fire there...He did have 7 TD's (including a 97 yarder) to 5 INT's as a Frosh...He's going to have to REALLY improve his completion percentage though...Scouts are going to kill him if he can't elevate over 60% this coming Season...He's got to be more accurate to be #1 Overall...

I'm hoping Edwards can improve as much as anyone, but I think we're kidding ourselves if QB is anything other that Priority #1 at this point in Buffalo...LT would definitely be a close 2nd... After that, again this is before we even see a Pre Season Game, I'd say it's WR, TE, and OLB in that order...

I think lacking foot speed is an understatement with Spikes...He ran a 5.01 at his Pro Day... I'm not saying the Kid can't play in the box...But I'll promise you this much...CG will be looking for any way possible to get that Kid in coverage vs Spiller... Oh my!!!

I hate to hear this about Lori...She was one of the best things about TSW...Her info and knowledge was second to none around here... Unfortunately I have to agree with those who feel the overall quality of this Community has dipped over the past couple years...I find it to be a bit sad...I do think it's a direct reflection of following a Football Team that can be beyond frustrating to support...But that's still no excuse to be rude, inconsiderate, etc... Just My opinion..And I'm not saying I know cause I don't...But it seems to me the Schefter tweet and much more especially that baby-fat faced La Canfora's Report yesterday have a major "business as usual in Buffalo" tone to them...I wonder if the Reports they are giving are due to concrete facts or simply hunches that The Bills will somehow screw up because Maybin took forever last year... Just a thought...

While I'm a HUGE CJ Spiller Fan (and I'll be rooting for the Kid to be the next great thing) I still think the Pick was a mistake for The Bills...If down the Road Spiller is our Reggie Bush and we're winning a SB I may be able to say I'm wrong about it...But I just think with the needs this Team had going into the Draft they could have turned that Pick into a heck of a lot more than an All-Purpose Back...Don't get me wrong, Spiller is going to be dynamic at times...But this is a team in re-building mode and they used a Top 10 Pick on a luxury item...

The Ravens are moving him to LT permanently (he Started 5 Games at LT in 2009), he played LT in the SEC, and even if he was a RT he would still be the best LT on the Bills Roster... So I guess I'm not seeing your point here...

The gap between Jim Kelly, John Elway and Fitz is Grand Canyon-like...All the Coaching in the world is not going to make Fitz THAT much better...Better?...maybe...Good enough? Doubtfully... Who said anything about Free Agency anyway? I don't care how The Bills do better than Fitz...But they DEFINITELY need to do better...All I'm saying is aim higher Folks...Aim higher, expect better than a QB like Fitz who is clearly not the answer to any question regarding a Starting NFL QB...Unless the question is this...Who is happy with a Starting QB that has a career 67 QB Rating and 6 more INT's than TD's in over 700 career attempts? Just saying...

I think Hardy is going to step up big time this Season. I think in the long run TO's greatest contribution to The Bills will be getting Hardy focused on being great...It seems as if TO actually helped Hardy get his head on straight... And believe me I know how crazy that sounds...

But I still think Brunell can go out and post a 67.7 QB...And there is no debate between Fitz and Jackson...Jackson's not much, but he's still better than Fitz...The numbers don't lie...
