The Bills have been their own worst enemies in falling in love with this short-passing Game and seemingly having nothing to counter with when Teams obviously know what is coming...The way the Jets and Cowboys played Freddie and the Screen Game overall took The Bills completely out of their element...The other thing I've noticed is how Fitz seems to go to Chandler more in the Red Zone and WAY less between the 20's...Maybe I'm wrong about that...but it does seem that way...Nevertheless, Teams understand shutting down Freddie is priority #1...The Bills are without 2 of their Top 3 Tackles on the Offensive Line, and I don't think it's a mystery why the production in the Running Game has dropped back with Levitre at LT...Did everyone see Levitre getting shoved back all day by Ware? I give him credit for sticking in there, but Ware was bull Rushing and knocking Andy back 3 Yards on contact...It was scary... Anyway...Yes the Bills need to run Freddie more, but opposing Defenses know that too...They know the Offense runs through Freddie...So they are trying to take Freddie out of the Game early by shutting down the Runs and Screens, get a lead, and then The Bills can't feed him in the 2nd Half...

At this point I think you can make an argument for WR, OLB (HAS to be a Pass Rushing OLB), and CB as the #1 Need position...It's a toss-up at this point...

Of the Passes I was referring to one ball (the 4th Down Pass) was WAY high and thrown with no arc directly over the Defender...The other Ball (a deep Pass towards the hashes) was 5 Yards over his head and WAY offline...Not sure what other Pass you're referring to that went off his hands...Maybe I missed that one...The Pass on 4th down was not horrible, but it would have taken a super-human effort to bring that one in...Few NFL WR's make that Play... Like I said I don't think Jones is an NFL #2 either...He was thrown in there when the Bills dealt Evans and the truth is they probably planned on Easley getting the job eventually...But Jones sure as heck is not as bad as some of you are making him out to be...Some of Y'all are clueless...

Agreed...this garbage about Spiller not getting touches is a joke...Chan basically hand-picked the Kid...If he showed enough to deserve them he would get all the touches he needs to shine...But he comes up short FAR too often...He can't break a tackle to save his life, and you would hope a #8 overall Pick would not stumble and drop a deep pass right in his hands when he does get the chance to make a big play...I mean...After watching Spiller look like he had 2 left feet and no hands on that play how can anyone question why he does not get more touches? More often than not he looks over-matched out there...They Drafted him at #8 overall to be the newer, better version of Darren Sproles, but he's no where close to that good...I thought Dez Bryant lacked maturity to be a great NFL WR...But I don't get paid to make those decisions either...Think the Bills would rather have Bryant now? 11 Draft Picks on Defense in two years and not a single one is a stand-out Defender...Dareus included...Though I do think the big-fella could be great in time...I mean...How is it even possible that a Team can Draft so poorly year, after year, after year?...Heck they don't even deserve credit for the Dareus Pick...that was a no-brainer...Or at least it seemed to be...I know AJ Green is having something to say about that...This is the most bizarre string of poor Drafting...It may even be historic it's so bad...Jeez...

Easley's make-up fits The Bills Need best...at least of the guys we had on the Roster at the beginning of the Season...For me it's not so much a deep threat Need as it is a legit #1 WR Need...Get a guy like Dez Bryant and see how much better it will make Stevie, Jones, Nelson, and so on...The Bills Need a match-up nightmare at WR...A true NFL year 2011 #1 guy...Those guys are big, strong, powerful leapers who have enough speed to outrun guys, but more importantly have exceptional Ball skills and instincts to go up and get the Ball over Defenders...THAT'S what The Bills Need more than anything else on Offense...

This much is obvious and it should be a concern to every Bills Fan because they ARE getting out-coached and seem to have no answers at all...Granted if our Defense could stop anything...I mean ANYTHING, I think the Offense would look a heck of a lot better purely because they would not be playing from behind so much...But Gailey has seemingly run out of magic...And when he does call a great play Spiller stumbles and drops a ball that hits him in the hands, or Fitz overthrows a wide open Donald Jones deep, or he under-throws one...etc, etc...It's pretty ugly right now...

Why? I mean...Granted Jones is not among the best #2 WR's in the NFL...But from what I saw today he's out there fighting for every inch, getting open, and he would have had 2 TD's were it not for poor Passes by Fitz... If Donald Jones was this Teams biggest problem they would be 8-1...I don't know why his name even comes up...It's not his fault the Team has no legit #1 WR...If Jones was the 3rd or 4th WR on this Team he would be incredible...

Well for right now Wanny will work, but I don't want Wanny longterm either because his stink is on this crap now too...Get somebody in here who is innovative...It could not possibly be worse...They are a JOKE!

They better get someone who can Coach Defense with that cash too...Because this Team is out coached week in and week out vs opposing Offenses...Sanchez and Romo are a combined... wait for it...38/47 for 467 yards, 4 TD's and one INT in the last 6 Quarters vs this Bills Defense...The Bills Defense is the laughing stock of the NFL right now...Worst in the league right now for certain...They are out-manned and out-coached...It's sad...

It really is amazing...The Bills have Players on the Defensive side...They have athletes...But how can you build a Defense where no one, I mean NO ONE can rush the freaking Passer? NO ONE! Week in and week out it looks like the opposing Offensive Coach knows exactly what we're doing out there...It's embarrassing...This Team needs a complete house cleaning on the Defensive side and it needs to start with the moron over there who could not Coach Defensive Football in the NFL to save his life...2 Drafts and 11 Picks dedicated to Defense, and this is the best they can do? What a joke...

This may be the worst Coached Defense I've ever seen...Always unprepared and out-coached...The past two years have been so brutal...We need to find someone who can Coach Defense...Edwards is dead man walking...He's done...

From the same guy who has been flying the Cowboys banner as a Top 10 Team all year and said West Virginia would destroy Syracuse...I really don't pay much attention to his detail...He makes a good point every now and again...That's about it...

Exactly... Consistency in PI calls is really the issue is it not? If one crew is going to call it tight then they better call it tight on every play...To me, and yes I am biased, the play you are talking about vs. Freddie was textbook PI...Heck the Defender actually knocked Freddie off balance with his back turned and the ball well in the air...The whole thing has gotten to be a joke...I know Rich Eisen has spoken to Periera about this for years now...Some of these are BIG game changing calls...Something needs to be done...

Why? Are you the official thread closer or is it because Williams and Dareus have been so dominate it's not up for conversation on a Football Board? This is the type of response that is exactly what is wrong with this Board in comparison to way back when...In the "old days" around here we fought scratched and clawed all the time...But we had Football conversations...We gave our opinions and we had back and forth...Now threads are littered with this type of response when someone asks a legitimate question about Personnel...And it is a legitimate question especially concerning Dalton vs. Williams...Williams looked terrible in pre-season, not much better before he got hurt, and now he's still out...Dalton is a ROOKIE starting QB who is showing promise and seems to be improving every Game...So you'd rather have Williams the next time Fitz takes a shot to the ribs? Plus, because this Team started 5-2 we can't question the Orginization who took a RB in the Top 10 with Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch already on the Roster?... Okey doke...

Approach or not the Jets simply have The Bills number big time...103-32 over the last three Games is all we really need to know... They own us...

The Ball can hit the ground as long as it's being controlled...It was called an INT on the field which means there needs to be indisputable evidence that the Ball hit the ground before Wilson was able to secure it...It looked pretty clear to me that he got the hand underneath to secure it...Indisputable evidence to overturn? No way... That being said it is pretty clear the Jets are a terrible match-up for the Bills and they simply own them now...Still...They don't need the help they got...And they got a lot of help...

You think it's mostly preparation? The Bills have been outscored by the Jets 103-32 in the past 3 Games...I think it's a bit more than preparation...It's a HUGE match-up problem for The Bills and probably the biggest reason they tried to get bigger and more physical in the off-season...Looks like there is still a ton of work to do on that end...The Jets currently OWN The Bills...It's not even close...

I like it! I think you could simply Draft Players from LSU and Alabama's Defense alone and have a hell of a good Draft...What an incredible amount of Defensive talent on both Teams...Just awesome!
