Right because Talk Radio topics are controlled by the callers... I mean...I know it happens from time to time...But for the most part the Hosts control, and sometimes (rightfully) monopolize the conversation...That's what Talk Radio is...In a Sports Town like Buffalo, on the 1st Day of Bills Camp, there is no way the conversation should be about ANYTHING other than Football...Especially in an established, old-school Market like WNY...And letting callers control topics is always dangerous...I've listened to Sports Talk for over 20 years now almost every day and I've never called in once...Many of the callers I hear on Sports Talk Radio both here and in Charlotte NC are complete idiots...Sometimes I wonder if they are really just joking...It's up to the Hosts to make good Talk Radio...The Afternoon guys on WGR are brutal at times...I mean REAL bad...It gets a little old...

Well if anyone does want to start one I'm in and I come REAL cheap... And all kidding aside...yes...I think I could do better than most of them at WGR...Though I am, and always will be, a Howard Simon Fan...

Well the geniuses can say what they want if that happens because I'll never hear it...I've already scouted the local bridges...I know one that is plenty high enough...I'll be long gone...

Free Agency just started...For all we know right at this moment The Bills could sign Clabo at OT, and Kevin Burnett at ILB in a day or two, and this Off Season looks pretty good all of a sudden...And I'm never going to complain about getting a player like Brad Smith...It helps us, hurts the Jets...He's a game changer in a lot of ways...I LOVE this move...

Me 2... Really can't imagine The Bills not having a strong interest in Burnett...I think he's an upgrade to Poz and he'll come cheaper...What's not to like about that?

I mostly agree Joe, but $42 million over 6 years is insane for Poz...It's just crazy...I was thinking he would get around $25 million over 5 years...In that area at least...The Contract made it easier for me to accept the loss to be honest...

Right...That's the reason The Bills have not made The Playoffs...Because they kept Players like Poz... 1st off, who said Poz won't get better? And what makes you think any of these Kids will be better than Poz any time soon? Just a guess? Because otherwise you're risking putting us back a few more years at ILB... AND you do realize the Bills have to start 2 ILB's right? No one is saying Poz is all that...But...Ugh!

Poz does not equal Whitner...The Bills will not get better by letting Poz go...I'm not sure how much better they'll be either...But creating a hole at ILB is not going to do The Bills any good right now...There's just nothing except Rookies and washed up Vets to plug in if Poz goes...At least there is legit depth behind Whitner... Poz is a Team guy...He's a decent teammate and he's a good representative of the team...He's not a Top 10 ILB, but The Bills are not a Top 10 Team yet anyway...No way should the Bills let Poz walk unless the money is just stupid money...

It would have nothing to do with Fitz's career 12-23-1 Record as a Starter, or his career 73 QB Rating...We're all just so dumb and lacking in Football IQ around here that the reason we're not ready to crown Fitz as the next coming is because he's not a 1st Round Pick...While we sit and watch the Bills get severely thumped and embarrassed year in and year out by a 6th Round QB in NE...But we're obviously too dumb to figure that out... +1 That would be a best-case scenario...It may still be a number of years away, but I've always thought a solution like the one you described will be the only way this Franchise stays in WNY for good...Otherwise who knows?

Not that I remember...Only the injury and the fact that he was thought to be a 1st Round caliber talent before he blew out his knee...He was really highly thought of coming out...I remember him well...Had no idea about the accident...That sucks...

I'm not sure what Florio's fascination is with this Buffalo story but it seems to me to be the same old, same old...Buffalo is a Small Market with an aging Owner...Ripe for the pickings...blah, blah, blah...I think anyone who truly looks at the Western NY/Southern Ontario Market, I mean really takes the time to understand the dynamics of it, will understand quickly that the Region is FAR better than a few NFL Markets that are struggling...Especially a Market like Jacksonville which never should have got a Team in the 1st place...If the Bills were a consistent winning Franchise I doubt very much it would ever come up...The Attendance would be outstanding and there would be no point...But because we've lost a ton in the past decade I guess we're easy pickings...I know this much...The NFL does not want to leave this Market...So IF The Bills ever moved...and I doubt they ever will...But IF they did it would be to Toronto...The NFL will see to it...There will be a Team in this area because it makes sense financially...Period...End of story...
