  1. I love OL posts!! MW was an LT in college, and dominant at that too. Maybe he has turned into a roadgrading RT more than a pass blocking LT, so the move isn't 100% great, but I think warrants as much consuderation as trying to go with Price at LT. Depth is going to be crucial for sure, which is why the coaches had up to 13 Tackles in camp this year... Clearly they saw a need to work out as many guys as possible... Jason Peters could be an option if he can handle it, but only for depth at Tackle... I think he's a TE in a OL body and as such may not be cut out for full-time NFL OL play. I for one don't think that Jennings will be gone... So all of that is moot.
  2. I'll take Jennings. I think we have adequate replacement for Williams in the form of Ron Edwards. Jennings is FAR harder to replace and I am all for continuity on the OL.
  3. I'll wring your neck!! I swear to god!!
  4. If I have to put up with The Crusade every day until then I think I will go mad. Can I propose that we give it a rest? At least on a Wednesday each week?? That way we have some breathing room... Thanks
  5. when did u play alongside him??
  6. ...and his stupid kicking the ball penalties..
  7. who are you agreeing with?? I don't know who we can bring in to replace Jennings - so resigning him seems most sensible to me (albeit on fairly reasonable terms). If we keep this group together we could build something really good for the next few years...
  8. Jennings, Tucker, Teague, Villarial, Williams If it aint broke... don't fix it. It's not broke, it don't need fixing, just continuous improvement. I can't grumble about the quality of OL play after the run we had down the stretch. I also completely disagree about the idea you put forward for Trey Teague. Hes was sonsistently our best OL this season and really showed what the $2m roster bonus was for. He is clearly benefitting from proper OL coaching from McNally and we should not seek to disrupt the middle of the OL again this offseason. LT is a problem if we can't get Jennings back - but a more viable option is to have Mike Williams move back to Left Tackle as was the original intention when we signed him. Tucker has GOT to be in the starting lineup next season. He really impresses me and look to gave great upside as a LG. Additionally - and this is not intended as a racisit comment so don't take it as one - but how cool would it be to have 3 white guys in the middle of our line? I love white OL-men... Makes me think of them swilling beers in a bar with sawdust on the floor and heavy metal on the jukebox...
  9. I agree with the sentiment Fez... These Crusaders are starting to bore me - and the off-season is only 3 days old...
  10. Don't you get fluffers behind the scenes on porn movies?? Are you *really* a Drew fluffer??
  11. I saw a fair few Vikes games this year too - and Winfield WAS THEIR D. They had nothing without him. He really is the best cover/tackling corner in the entire NFL. His hands are crap - and I think that we won't miss him so much given the make-up of our secondary right now, but he was and is a great CB.
  12. Upgrade at DE?? I think all 3 of our DE's played just fine this year - and Ritzmann adds nice depth if he pans out as projected...
  13. She'd be giving birth to babies with the biggest guns in the nursery thats for sure....
  14. Look - we only have 2 startes from this season who are UFA's and only one of those on Offence. I would not be surprised to see 90% of our starters return next year as starters (OL being a key area for potential change - but Jennings, Tucker, Teague, Villarial and Williams seems a lock to me). If this happens, I think we see the playbook expand as the continue to learn it and play at a high level together. Better play out of 10 of our returning starters can only help out the QB. Not forgetting that another season under Wyche can only help Drews mechanics, thought processes, etc. There is NO need to have an upper echelon QB to ensure you get to and win a Superbowl. The examples have already been named so I won't bother. But with the young talent, veteran talent and continuity we are about to see - I think we will do very well next season with Drew at the helm. 8 wins this year showed us what a team performance is all about, only 1 (Miami) did we rely on Drew. So Yes - the slightly less complicated answer is YES we can make the playoffs and the Superbowl with Drew at the helm. I for one believe that it is MORE plausible with Drew there than with JP Losman - as he's a bigger question mark than Drew, and we may mortgage another couple of years of playoff time for him to develop as a starter. Why not have him pick up for Drew as we head towards the playoffs next year??
  15. In that case - - BUMP... LAMP!
  16. Above - my post from the pther day. Below - TMQ... See?
  17. Yes the Bills can...
  18. Are we really going to see JP start next season?? I think he'll be given every opportunity.
  19. Yes - Willis's extension on blocks is freaking incredible - he really explodes into guys. That is a hidden stat - but Willis brings a load when he blocks - I saw numerous examples of thatyesterday!
  20. Impressive........
  21. Colts, Chargers and Packers are who I will root for...
