  1. ALL this talk about Willis holding out is SURELY just guanranteeing a hold out come the start of next preseason?? I mean if we expect him to do it he may as well right? That was everyone will go, yeah ok we get thet he is holding out cos he's our superstar... We all need to chill out and take what comes. Willis goes like a powerhorse this year and we'll worry about it then. Until then, relax, enjoy the knowledge that we have a quality running back that is ready to take the weight of the team on his shoulders and smack our opponents in the face with his stiffarm.
  2. UPDATE - BB.com now has Bannan listed as a G/DT... I was under the impression that he was moving back to D permanently...
  3. I'm sorry to prolong the misery here... But this has got to be a misnomer... Pickle juice is optional. I don't use it, but some people do. What fuggin people?? The french (Nouilles frites par oeuf sans jus de cornichon)?? The germans (Ei gebratene Nudeln ohne Essiggurkesaft)??? The chinese (蛋油煎的麵條沒有嫩黃瓜汁)???? The spanish (Tallarines fritos huevo sin el jugo del pepinillo)????? Sorry but this recipe looks to me like it's basically re-freid barf. YOU are the ONLY person who would make and eat this steaming heap of vomit.
  4. My wife was watching some s#it on the TV the other day were Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie decided to go get laser corrective eye surgery. Quite why is beyond me as neither wears glasses as far as i can tell. They filmed Ms Hiltons procedure. Let me tell you. They give you a couple of numbing eye drops, crank your eyes wide open to the point where they are almost splitting at the sides, then then take a scalpel and slice a portion of your eye and fold it back. That's right - they take a knife to your eye and cut it. Then comes all the s#it with the laser and when they are done then simply flap this loose piece of eye back into place. No I don't know about anyone else - but if I even get a tiny speck of dust in my eyes I am a whinging flapping mess until it is out - and for ages afterwards my eye is red and sore. Compare that pain and irritation to some quack CUTTING YOUR EYE AND LEAVING THE FLAP LOOSE. Seems to me that eyes have a reaction that says they don't like to be messed with.
  5. GOYK Been using this site for a long time when things go slow here at work. It's generally work safe (and will prompt where it isn't) and has a ton of games, videos, pictures to keep you amused... It's basically a resting place for forward emails - so you never have to worry about them any more... enjoy. I'm playing Flatout right now...
  6. haha ok so we can at least agree to disagree... for the record I wasn't a supporter of the LJ for Travis proposal... You are right about Travis being a potential capable cheap backup - but his presence in the locker room has the potential to divide the locker room, if not 50/50 then there will at least be pockets of the team that want Travis to start or get more time I think. I was always a Travis fan - but he's not playing this situation right in my eyes. If it is him that is delaying trade talk by asking for too much he's an ass. He needs to take whatever gig is going to get him playing time so he can argue up his contract when it comes time. Regardless of personnel in town now - I don't think he'll give anything near 100% for the Bills anymore regardless of whether it would benefit to do so or not. He's had 2 years of feeling snubbed, his confidence is down, he coming off injury and he has attitude/personality problems that I don't think should be part of the Bills organisation... But you are right - I'm very glad neither of us are the GM. We'd screw it up all to hell.
  7. I was talking to a friend of mine who is a pats fan yesterday and he said to me what the name of that retarded quizzical joker who posts on the Stadium Wall and I said the Riddler. He says to me did you realise that if you drop the J and sub an F at the start of his name you get the Fiddler? I didn't realise this. I hope it's just a name and not anything in the way he posts or messes around with kids. Did you realise this?
  8. OK so lets look at the Jets backup at QB: Jay Fiedler Brooks Bollinger If Pennington goes down - that pair isn't going to carry them anywhere - let alone on a Frank Reich-esque Superbowl run.
  9. The reason to trade him is that whatever rose coloured specs we all might wear, Travis is not going to produce diddly-squat this year if he's in a Bills Uniform. It's a basic equation... You pay him just over a mil this year for no return. You don't pay him and let him go for no return. You trade him and get some return (3rd or 4th round pick). Travis can do more harm than good in Buffalo in his current state of mind and we should get shot of him.
  10. What is the official name of BF's culinary monstrosity? My favourite was Rettata...
  11. Thanks for the advice guys. I will get that letter.
  12. ROFL - look at the title!! Damn typo made it look like Chad had an op on his pecker cos he's having problem with his tiny army! For those who missed it - I originally put "JETS: Pennington and jis surgery" in the subject line...
  13. ESPN Just read the attached on ESPN. It has t raise questions about how good Pennington is going to be this season and over upcoming seasons... He is 29, having just gone through 'invasive and extensive' surgery, has never started 16 games in a season, took a long time to develop, has a weak arm and questionable deep threat. He's got some positives for sure, good completion %age and touch on dinks and dunks, but he's just not what I want in a QB and I think it bodes really well for the Bills. Herm Edwards reckons Chad is at about 89%, so read way below 50% in where he should be for this time of the year. Chad is still going to be rehabbing his shoulder all the way through camp - and that's just not what you need. You need a healthy QB who can assert himself and give you confidence in him throughout July and August so you go into the season on a high. Chad's not going to do that IMO. AFC East Defences should be able to really clamp down on the Jets O package this year, they will be forced to go more and more with the ageing CMart and if that fails they have to try and go for it without the legit ability to go deep to their new speedsters... The Jets never made it over the hump and I predict this is the first year of their decline.
  14. For the US shop I'll make Fat Guy T's available!
  15. Probably not this year... Not out of the money worries yet and my wife isn't ready to move to Canada until she is done with he first year as a teacher - which is 18 months away... Anyway - next year I plan on being at a game... I miss it. It's been too long since I was last there.
  16. Hmmm I would need to check that... OOOPS! Site may go offline real soon!
  17. my enthusiasm to see it has cooled a lot now
  18. Why?? I don't get it... $250 for rockpile section seats would be worth it...
  19. When I move to Canada I intend to buy season tickets. I'll probably be in Montreal or Ottawa...
  20. There will never be a greater WOTW soundtrack/audio than this: Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds
