  1. Yup he is. Spikes plays weakside, Fletch MLB and Posey is SLB But then again you don't often see them switch side do ya? It's more like right, middle, left
  2. All we need in this post if for DCTom, ICE, Spiked Lemonade and BF to pipe up and we're having a party.
  3. same here - take a look at home tho - WIVB are putting some good stuff out
  4. I've read a real hodge-podge of remarks about Gandy. Almost all of the 'fan' perspectives say he has issue with moving his feet and getting beat by Schobel. Conversely - the media is tending towards saying Gandy is having a good camp so far. Chris Brown for example says he's impressed... I think it might be too soon to tell. Gandy is average for sure - not any sort of upgrade over Jennings. He may play up to a level we can be confident in, but we're 4 days into a 4 week camp here and still over a month away from Houston. It's just too early to tell what's going on... Once we've scrimmaged against the Pack we'll know more. I expect to see some goalline situations and some situations where we ask the OL to do a lot. How Gandy performs in that scrimmage is going to tell us alot.
  5. This thread has turned so retarded it's pretty clear to me that the majority of people have taken to eating BF's rettata exclusively now and the pickle juice is messing with your brains. Also - CTM - the concerns about JPLs action/mechanics are off the mark. I've been watching film religiously since camp started - anything to watch online I've seen it. If you take a look at JPs mechanics and then put a tape of Drew last year you'll get some perspective. JP has looked a little skitty so far - a little hurried, for sure - but I don't see anything fundamentally wrong with what he is doing. Take a look at the outside/pass skelly that the Bills have been running. JPs basic action is tight. Over the shoulder with feet set nicely. He really gets back quick with those coupla big steps and the rapid setting steps. He'll also get a nice big step into the throw and look very balanced. (Drew on the other had had a weird sidearm style often and too often threw off his back foot in an effort to just get it out) I haven't seen anything to concern me in full team drills with JPs passing action either - other than some excitement and hurries that weren't strictly necessary. To me this is down to a young guy who wants to make a mark early - it's excusable because we're only 4 days into camp. Yeah I'm a full blown JPL apologist already - but shouldn't we all be? We all need to lighten up and worry about the real problems which I think are Gandy, 4th DE, Backup RB, OL Depth.
  6. A guy I know who is a Texans fans is warming me up for Week 1 with this kinda crap: http://people.freenet.de/cheimt04/drebuftd.gif Ouch
  7. you get more than a slap

  9. Anyone have a good source for Raiders Training Camp photos? I've looked - but the fan sites I can find flatly suck. EDIT: First person to say "Have you tried Google?" gets a slap. EDIT2: First person to post a link to Raiders.com gets a slap.
  10. More photos: http://www.raiders.com/uploads/photos/perm...105gallery9.jpg (79) http://www.raiders.com/uploads/photos/perm...005gallery2.jpg (stretching with Sapp - that's Lorn by Sapps right foot)
  11. I'm not gonna get bored of following Raiders camp to keep up with Lorn. Theire camp diary and photos feature Lorn a few times (#79 for those who look). All of their problems with Anttaj Hawkins(or is it Hawthorne?) makes the situation better for Lorn to have a shot of making the team. He's probably camp/PS fodder, but I really hope not.
  12. No - that was Ken Simonton - whom we cut a couple of seasons back. Simonton was with the Scottish Claymores and led the league in rushing.
  13. Ladies and Gentlemen, the defence rests.
  14. Puhonix would prefer to see Miami play in backless leather chaps, the orange ALt jerseys and turquoise cowboy hats than any other uniform... Oh, oops, sorry, I forgot I was meant to lie.
  15. A lot of people here have slammed NFLE for being a joke. Most of these guys aren't marquee names, but some play a very important role on our team. I for one am grateful NFLE gave them a shot to develop before joining our team.
  16. The sky is falling.
  17. In defence of RaChaCha... What's wrong with being a JP apologist?
  18. Holy hell. Bump for Trent Dilfer. What an outstanding character.
  19. Whenever my team practices the offense is slow to get started. I've been in this offence and system for over 12 seasons, and there are always new reads, plays, objectives to get to grips with and it takes a while to figure it out in your head. JP and the whole offence are still learning to play together. O takes wayyy more skill and coordination that playing D so it'll take time to take shape. Don;t sweat it too much. Oh and don't forget - our D is loaded up with pro-bowlers and is looking like being one of the greatest D's of all time. So if they give our new O some trouble, I'll shrug that off for now...
  20. easy - he's gotta be more than half your age
