  1. maybe close enough so your eyes go blurry
  2. I'm not so sure it is that simple i have read in the past that the Bills though Dorenbos had really good velocity on his snaps - particularly for punting. moorman has praised him many a time Also - Dorenbos didn't LS for placekicks, Teague does - so if Schneck can take the load off there its good - but don't forget the LS on PAT and FGs has to do some blocking too
  3. Try this way: Go Directly to Jail. Do NOT Pass Go. Do NOT collect $200.
  4. I love the navy/navy... But I am REALLY starting to like the white uniform. The jersey is SWEET - (my Willis white jersey is my pride and joy right now) and i like it matched with the white pants, but it looks WAY better with the navy pants... My choice would be Navy/Navy home and White/Navy away.
  5. I actually think Drew will have a good year - esp with Peerless down there in Dallas. They boys are a playoff team IMO.
  6. I think Hugh Douglas is past it - and that our DL right now has all the depth it needs with Ritzmann on the PS in case of injuries. Our DL has loads of upside. Shobel is a given, Kelsay keeps improving, Denney is a good backup, Adams is All-Pro, Anderson shows improvement and effort, Edwards has starting experience and can rush the passer, Sape is the Sapemeister, and Bannan is mr versatile.
  7. hmmmmmmm veddy interestink 97.2 = brett farves roomie season preseason rating?
  8. 61.1 = JPs rating in preseason 97.2 = Holcombs rating in preseason?
  9. Temperature at 0400 on game day?

  11. If we start Holcomb with a healthy Losman on the sideline at any point this season we will not be in the playoffs.
  12. France was a good NFLE Kicker. We could do worse than to risk signing him over Lindell.
  13. If Gregg coulda been a halfway decentl Head Coach he might have agreed. And he might have been here to have Willis run over defences for him. But thats all water under the bridge right? Donahoe is son of the devil after all.
  14. I like Wire and I am glad he made the team.
  15. The line over here is Bills -5.5. Also we are 2/7 favourites to win - Houston 5/1 to win. Most bookies here also have us at 25/1 to win SBXL, 9/2 to win AFC Conf but 20/1 to win the division.
  16. Sure but that's not a bad thing huh? For preseason planning I like it. They gave Willis his carries against the Bears stout D to get a good practise against one of the league better Run Defences, and we then rest the run game in the final preseason game to work on the passing game some more. I have no doubt this O is a ball control Offence come the regular season. Preseason games are practises, and we practised passing with the starters in. All good.
  17. Hmmm interesting. There seems to be a ground swell of opinion that the Detroit game wasn't as bad a game as we all saw it to be. I had in the back of my head while I listened to the game that 'it's just preseason' - but it's hard to see that as your team is getting beat, whatever the season. But I got to thinking - at one point in the first half we had run 15 offensive plays - only running on 3 of them. Thats 80% passing offence. 80%. The WRs didn't do a lot to help us out for sure, and Detroit sure wanted to prove something more than we could be bothered to do, but JP got a really good workout on those passing schemes and apart from the first INT (the speed out to Aiken) which IMO was fugged up timing on JPs part. In the cold light of day (and with a pair of THICK rose tinted glasses on) I think JP did enough to settle my nerves going into Sunday. ALSO - look at the progression over preseason. JP made better and better decisions as the games wore on, started well enough vs Indy, OK vs GB, not so sharp against the Bears and OK against Detroit. To me that's enough to show me he's learning fast enough to make sure we don't lose games as a result of him and could look to JP to rally one maybe two games this year.
  18. I'll buy 4.5 - but not for much.
  19. Good news. Lindell is a shocker.
  20. Here's why I am not concerned about the Texans giving JP trouble: Our gameplan needs to be run, run again, run some more, run for good measure, then when they expect us to to running, keep running. In all seriousness - our RBs need to get 45+ carries between them Sunday - that'll take the heat off JP for the handful of 3rds we need him to connect on. My bet - 1st play - long pass to Eric or Lee down the sidelines.
  21. Ahhh - that's where I went wrong... I switched from a Bills desktop 2 weeks ago too... It goes back later today.
  22. I think Goldsberry, Ritzmann, Ezekial are locks to be brought back.
  23. How about my boy Lorn Mayers from the Raiders? They didn't re-sign him to their PS.
