  2. fair - since we are just 1-1 and there are 14 more games to go. i hope todays performance balances some of the glee from last week. we came out and looked like Houston, not Buffalo.
  3. How bout the entire D? I mean, I know the O didn;t help them out - but one sack? 128 yards for cadillac? we're making the Bucs OL look like world beaters... c'mon defence- you gotta do more than that to be assessed alongside the 85 bears... Also - McGahee gets a goat - boy he starts slow and doesn't really get going at all today huh? What gives?
  4. NASN is a great channel - but due to the competition for NFL rights in the UK NASN is not permitted to show any NFL live or as-live at this time in the UK. I'll look into getting a dodgy connection to NASN Europe - but NASN UK isn't going to show NFL this year maybe next year
  5. Cannot. Hold. Back. Applause. Any. Longer.
  6. when we make the superbowl next I will be at the game. no matter what cost. in the unlikely event that i can't be there - i would go to the NFL's official UK superbowl party which has been awesome for the past few years.
  7. Ya know what - i could work with that - as long as at no point do we get some comic book re-work of our logo a-la Bengals, Cardinals, Jaguars, etc
  8. I gotta admit - the more I see of them, the more I watch tape - the more I love those Unis... I was biiiiiig in favour of using them only occasionally - but now, I think maybe we should make the switch full time. Just splendid.
  9. 5. Meet Virginia - Train 4. Semi-Charmed Life - Third Eye Blind 3. Philosophy - Ben Folds Five 2. Resc ue Blues - Ryan Adams 1. Murder of One - Counting Crows
  10. ESPN and CBS are dead on. Fox are on crack. Dr Z just likes to hate on us... The fins above us? Jeez Louise!
  11. Puhlease... The Iraqi military are doing a good job of restoring democracy to a troubled nation. I think you mean to say insurgent Iraqi militia...
  12. actually a 45-45 tie would be preferable
  13. A previous blog entry - welcome to my life
  14. I can't tell if you are being sarcastic Hey you guys need to know if I lived within a 8 hour dive of Buffalo I'd be a season ticket holder. Don't doubt that because I am a Britisher I'm a hardcore Bills fan... There are hundreds of Bills fans in the UK - and as their representative I am totally committed to getting us some regular Bills football. We get shafted by the NFL and if you love the Bills that's just not fair. If I can figure a way to do it I will. But let me be realistic - I'm not flush with cash at all and I don't know my fellow UK Bills Backers well enough yet to figure how much they'd pay to see the Bills. Don't forget too that of the 100 or more Bills fans I know of we are geographically separated over the enite UK, so there isn't a simple answer to our predicament. We've met once and only a handful could make it... I WILL get Bills games in the UK... but I plan to move to Canada within 3 years (in part so I can see more Bills footbal), so Sunday Ticket may come quicker to me than to others.
  15. Oh it is totally doable... but there are so many factors. 1. A person in the US with the willingness, Sunday Ticket, high speed connection, cables, TV card, PC, Slingbox, etc etc etc 2. A person with necessary high speed internet connection in the UK. Most broadband in the UK comes at 2meg maximum - higher than that requires som eserious outlay. 3. A location to show the games. I would do it at my flat, but more than 7 people we run out of seats, more than 10 people we run out of viewing space and more than that there's no room to move. I dunno - it is doable - but on what scale I don't know.
  16. Well if it isn't your birthday today.... have an aggravating day
  17. Congrats! And bigger congrats on getting your hands on that hotties boobs
  18. I dunno - the Jets could be nasty this year.
  19. At least u didn't rim him for his readily apparant lack of football knowledge.
  20. Yup Hammers Lot is the best place for Tailgating by far. I used to love being in Buffalo and being on the radio with GR at the lot. Hammer sure know how to make people feel at home... Even took time to drive me around first time in Buffalo to show me where was good...
  21. Yeah that's right... Well that's all we need to know about Bob Ryan then eh?
  22. Ohh I like that one...! Can I make a suggestion though?? 4-3 to the Bills. 2 safeties for us and a 64-yard figgie for them
  23. Bob Ryan is that sallow faced, big lipped prick who is on ESPNs The Sports Reporters. He's a friggin joke - I NEVER agree with anything he has to say about football... I don't remember which city he is from, but I got a feeling he has a lot to say about the Red Sox and the Patsies so I seem to remember his as a Boston writer. It's really no surprise to heard a POS like Bob Ryan fellate the Felons. Nick Saban is a big news story for the NFL this year and he'll do no wrong all season. The media will excuse this season if he sucks as a rebuilding year for the Felons, and if he does well they'll annoint him the second coming of Bellichik. Who gives a stuff anyway? Buffalo isn't going to get any love until we are 4-0 or 8-2 or something and Berman goes nuts about us. Right then we'll be the town to fellate and the team to rave about. Take the national media with a pinch of salt - they'll big up the Big Market towns because that's where their audiences are. Wait until the playoffs for some live for this team.
