  2. what if i cant access the Chat room?
  3. I'm starting to get on that bandwagon too now... Sherman could be a very good choice about now. He's massively well connected too.
  4. So strange... So very strange. The JG thing is like a weird appendage for now - cut him loose if he is leaving.
  5. Sherman I would definately take.
  6. Agree - but rather than go for retirees, I want us to look closely at successful college coaches who know how to build a programme.
  7. To quote ESPN: If there are any terms other than "see ya buddy" I'm apalled. He quit. He forgoes his salary and anything he was about to earn for bailing out.
  8. TOTALLY Agree. Mort is a whiny B word... No surprise he broke this early and first.
  9. YUP I like Mouse - but he's done. CLEAN OUT time. Get 'em all gone.
  10. hit refresh
  11. Good point. The sky isn't falling. It's the roof of the field house.
  12. Wow - that's a blow coming from TKO. I always see TKO as a voice of reason. The boat is officially going under now.
  13. No don't get me wrong - but doesn't the football coach at some point have to just accept his lot and just be the coach? I'm unconvinced that the retention of Modrak makes sense - hence the comments relating to the geographical location of the personnel makes sense to a degree. But Wilson being a Detroit native is a known factor - owners have no need to sit on their team 24/7 a la Jerry Jones/Al Saunders. The more I read the more Mike facks me orf. Start over afresh. Sack everyone - EVERYONE on the coaching staff and lets try again. Mike - you disappoint me.
  14. Can't we just let Marv and Ralph choose who they consider the best candidate for the job? I frankly don't care who gets it. I do know that they'll have by 100% backing when they get the job - so no great shakes whoever it is. End of season will be a different matter.
  15. ...then I am very ASHAMED of the actions of Bills fans. I have read reports of threats and remarks made to his family. Absolutely unacceptable... Pull yourselves together.
  16. OK I call BS... am I the only one that thinks Mort is being a baby?
  17. No part of the player has to be touching any part of the field of play... so the Toe Nail doesn't matter. All that matters is that the player is not out of bounds, which he is not until a part of his body touches the ground out of bounds. Hence - a player can be completely outside the playing field, in mid air and still score as long as the ball crosses the line before he goes down. It's not dumb, it's just a rule. We'll agree to disagree...
  18. Actually - I thought the replay showed very clearly that he didn't have control of the ball even when he had 2 feet and one knee down. The football was squirting up out of his arm as he was being tackled. As for the comment about running - the ball ALWAYS has to cross the goalline. Give me an example where it doesn't. If you mean about jumping thru the air accross the goal line that stretches to infinity... I can't complain about that in the slightest. That play is one of the more exciting in football.
  19. Ahhh - I recall the play you have in mind on this one... The player receiving the ball must have full control. In the case in the playoffs, the player did not have full control of the ball while falling and when he came under tackle - despite having two feet down - did not remain in control... Whether in the endzone or not the call remains the same: incomplete.
