Cameras flashed hundreds of Loop 101 speeders
nick in* england replied to Tux of Borg's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well I will say this: Automated Speeding Cameras have been used and operated by the police in the UK for a number of years now. They are universally despised in my experience and in a number of areas actually cause more accidents than they prevent where people speeding suddenly slow down for the camera (which have to be clearly visible and marked on the road). I've never been caught - but I've been flashed a few times, buit no ticket sent thru. They are basically an ATM for the police/county... If they get low on funds they just charge up the cameras, fill em with film and start printing money... -

Campy - that sounds like politics speak for - I'm not sure being a coach would fit in with Jim Kelly's drinking schedule. Losman: How'd I do coach? I feel like my mechanics have really gotten better and i'm reading that cover 2 nicely now. Back in your playing days, would you check off at the line if the Z is in press man coverage or is it better to wait, run the play and adjust with thw WR on the fly? Kelly: You dun jush fine kiddo. Now shuddup n pash me another beer befow ahh kick yer scrawny ass, pansy. Woman git back on your knees, did I shay you could shtop? <SLAP> -

I'm not sure you can answer this question until the Mike Williams problem is resolved. I want to know what happens with a restructuring or if he is going to be cut. I believe Big Mike is the key here. He has a lot of OL money locked up - so signing FA's is going to be tough until we solve that... In addition, you have a high priced guy in there that you really have to play at his current price, so RT is pretty much where you'll have to play him... Also - the key right now is to get a proper LG in. We've been too weak at LG since Ruben Brown left... I think we need to build from the middle out... Teague needs a switch out and we need to figure out if Duke Preston can play C. To me I'd rather go with a guy like Duke or the kid Mangrove from the draft at C and spend some money on a QUALITY FA LT and LG. That way you can have Peters and Williams battle it out for RT and let CV hang on to the RG spot.

Hmmmm - everyone is a loser until they are a winner... and vice versa. I wanted Sherman to come here. I really thought the upsides of his work on O was exactly what we need and would go for. -

Seriously - with all the problems Marv faces right now - the LAST thing I want him to worry about is the fecking uniforms... Anyway - I like the all navy duds. Just like I like the throwbacks... But I want Marv to be a football man, not a fashion man. -

Yeah both hand pulled... and very definately ales as opposed to lager. If you're a lager drinker then I think the switch to an ale is hard... -

Hmmm. Seriously. Have you ever drunk Waggledance? London Pride? Osprey? Bombardier? Spitfire? Anyway Guinness is Stout. Not Beer. And thanks - but I love a guinnes. Even been to Ireland for your guinness? I can honestly testify that the stuff u get in the US may as well be Budweiser for the quality difference in Ireland and even here in London. -

Makes sense to me... He's been out of football for too long. He just needs game experience... -
While the comments Manning made have been overblown - I sat there the entire game telling my wife that the reason the colts were going to lose was because their OL couldn't pick up the blocks... Steelers made it hard - but to be honest all those times they sent 6 7 8 guys there should have been an outlet for Manning, but he didn't even have time for that. The colts are all about timing and giving manning room to play - if ever there was a good case of too much time off and losing the edge, the colts this year is it.
